BLACKSBURG, Va. -- The suspected gunman in the Virginia Tech shooting rampage, Cho Seung-Hui, was a troubled 23-year-old senior from South Korea who investigators believe left an invective-filled note in his dorm room, sources say.

The note included a rambling list of grievances and ended with the words "Ismail Ax" in red ink on the inside of one of his arms.

Antidepressants have saved many lives.

Unfortunately, if you give a psychotic sociopath an antidepressant, he is still a psychotic sociopath, just maybe not as depressed.

Did Algore recently lecture at the campus?

Centerville, where the guy lived, has a sizable muslim community, including his immediate neighbors.

Amazing.

Ismail Ax

Is this an Anagram perhaps? the letters make up the words “Mail Axis” and “ALIAS MIX” amoung other non-sensical words, those are the most clear... Odd.

The ellipses is dividing two separate stories, the second most likely an old story about Barack Obama which has dropped off the current page.

Excellent find! I do have some thoughts but I’m still not having too much luck locating the same item in a search query. I went to CBSNews.com to try to locate this and wasn’t having much luck either. Perhaps someone tried to type up the truth and had their entry revoked due to the nature.

A friend of ours went berzerk going cold turkey off Effexor. You just can’t do that with chemicals. Threatened to kill his wife (he had a concealed weapon permit and a gun) so she ran out of the house and called police from a neighbors house. He had a standoff with the police from the afternoon and thru the night, firing shots out the windows. He ended up killing himself. This was soooo out of character.

-Looks like this domain was purchased today. Someone out there thought they might be able to profit from this “act of terror”.

Another guess -- we'll find out this guy was a big fan of first-person shooter on-line games, and "Ismail Ax" was his gamer tag. Perhaps he was just playing the part in the real world, after practicing on-line.

Of course, you could continue to speculate why he might have chosen that particular gamer tag in the first place (assuming that's what it is)...

Professor Carolyn Rude, chairwoman of the university’s English department, said she did not personally know the gunman. But she said she spoke with Lucinda Roy, the department’s director of creative writing, who had Cho in one of her classes and described him as “troubled.”

“There was some concern about him,” Rude told The Associated Press. “Sometimes, in creative writing, people reveal things and you never know if it’s creative or if they’re describing things, if they’re imagining things or just how real it might be. But we’re all alert to not ignore things ike this.”

She said Cho was referred to the counseling service, but she said she did not know when or what the outcome was. Rude refused to release any of his writings or his grades, citing privacy laws.

There is absolutely NO evidence of this. If and when there is, we’ll know. But to take the leap that this South Korean guy is a Muslim, when there’s no evidence is foolish and it serves no purpose.
