"A lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth gets its pants on"Yeah. Sadly, we see it more and more frequent;y, even with so-called conservatives rushing to judgement no matter HOW thin the evidence.

He can be an ‘insider’ that knows Washington and therefore is running against how stupid Washington is, or he can run as the ‘outsider’ running against how stupid Washington is.
The result is the same and the tactics are the same. Neither is really a stretch and both are winning strategies. This will appeal both to conservatives, Libertarians, and many moderate Dems. The idea is ‘Washington is stupid and I’m here to make sense of it’. Inside or outside is just semantics.

The feminists are not above playing the scared little girl when it is in their favor. She will pull the girly card at the risk of being viewed as...well a girly. That is NOT presidential. If she is viewed as weak in crisis, she can lose woman voters as well as men. While woman voters have a different score card for rating candidates than men, the security/cool-under-fire trait is a profound issue for woman.

This is actually good news: It means the DNC is taking Fred Thompson seriously. You don’t see the democrats tearing in to Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee, do you? The DNC knows that Juan McCainez is on his way to the exit, Rudy is too liberal to garner the nomination,(although their allies in the media keep pushing him) and that most Protestants and Catholics don’t want a Mormon president. That leaves Fred Thompson, who is now first or second in most national polls.

Clearly, the Rodents are scared of facing Fred Thompson. That’s a good sign.

Thompson has been vocal in his support of Libby, saying that he would 'absolutely' pardon him. As he runs for president, he'll try his hardest to hide the truth from the American people. So, is Thompson vocal, or is he trying to hide the truth? (Frickin' morons.)

Libby has about the same high unfavorables as Dick Cheney (57%)...being a Libby defender will not draw people across the aisle, as will be necessary if F.Thompson wins the Republican nomination...You're probably right. I guess we'll have to settle for it's the right thing to do.

Good!! The RATS are afraid of him. Considering he hasn’t even announced yet, they’re jumping the gun, but it’s nice to know that he scares them.

But it was ok for Tommy Daschle’s wife to be a lobbyist WHILE he was in the Senate. Too bad the RNC is too daft to use that against them.
