I guess those poor kids don't know what Ron Paul campaign funder Don Black has planned for them.

I don’t think Ross Perot would agree with Run Paul’s idiology.

How is he dead in the water?

His numbers are increasing, his coverage is getting much better, and he's receiving endorsements from representatives of virtually every single pivotal conservative voting bloc.

Plus, he's hitting his stride in these debates, where he's 's made a distinctly positive impression upon potential voters.

There's no logical way for Huckabee's national numbers to be a realistic assessment of the Republican field, unless the Republican Party has suddenly a stand-in for the SBC.

Liberalism is an ideology based in the 'faith' that no other Faith (ie. Christians) should dictate morals or values upon them and government should do everything to restrict and outlaw Christian influence in every aspect of daily life.

The majority of Dr. Paul's supports are Liberals, you can not deny that.

Interesting, one thing about Paul is that he does not use common definitions of terms and so is often misunderstood. I don’t think he pays a lot of attention to the media or common culture.

You have put your finger on a problem, which is not limited to Paul, or any particular candidate for any office. The common definitions of all sorts of terms, in contemporary America, have been hopelessly corrupted by the talking heads and pseudo-intellectual poseurs of the mass media--who were in turn corrupted by the Leftwing faculties so prevalent in Academia today. The problem this creates for Conservatives is this:

Conservatism is based upon clear perception of truth. We are, after all, trying to preserve--and that is impossible without understanding what is, and what is not. But if we have to endlessly define how we are using terms, we use up the patience of our audience. Yet, if we do not carefully define our usage, we surrender the format of each issue to the Leftist word merchants--a disaster.

No, no, no no no.

The guy put down FR by saying the “FR way” and that offended me as a member ! read back through this darn thread. Read back through the thread. Read the damn thread before you make a false judgement. I know whatever kook site that is does not care about the truth.

‘Read the damn thread before you make a false judgement’

Yo, newbie. I DID READ THE THREAD.

I WASN’T PASSING JUDGEMENT.

I was noting your exchange with EEE is now fodder for the sites that exist primarily to serve those banned from FR.

Sheesh, don’t take that approach with me. We’re close neighbors here in small towns in Southern Ohio.

You can see it easily enough by hitting the ‘biker bar’ section from the home page, and just looking back over the past couple of years.

< bragging mode> I was particularly honored recently on there with a nomination for "Worst FReeper." I can't tell you how flattering I found that. I didn't win, but I shall try harder.

< bragging mode off>

The proof of the pudding:

“What will fascism be wrapped in if/when it comes?”

Maybe freerepublic.com?

39 posted on 12/18/2007 10:50:40 AM EST by the tongue

A nine-year freeper sees fascism’s loss Of banning members for their opinions. For lack of a flag or wielding a cross, The tongue fell prey to RimJob’s minions.

I was thinking the same thing before reading the tongue’s post and would have made the same comparison myself had I not been already banned for similar observations.

Welcome to exile, Tongue, or up from fascism, it that is your pleasure.

Free Republic became just a shill for the official elites of the GOP as soon as the Klintons left the White House.

Another niner, EEE, is circling the Rim. Even a newbie sees it and comments. The oldest freepers seem to be getting the ax the most. Maybe it’s because they realize most what RimJob has thrown away.

Or they feel more secure because they’ve got seniority. Doesn’t matter though if you’re not in goose-step with JR.

When the most senior members, of a decade’s standing, are banned and labelled “trolls,” you realize security comes only from BEING RimJob.

Many of the posts on FR display fear and halting caution. Quite often one will see a poster say something slightly provovative but also add in qualifying ass covering statements so he doesn’t appear to be a “bad thinker.”

For instance- when freepers criticize Bush over something it is almost ritual that they must include a qualifier like:

“Bush has a poor record when it come to X issue- don’t get me wrong here- the DemonRATS are worse- much worse- but Bush could do better than he has on X issue.”

A counter balancing criticism of “Liberals” and the DemonRATS always has to be inserted when Dear Leader is being criticized.

Well, according to this freeper post, we’re all a bunch of kooks over her, anyway, Willie.

“Its worth noting a kook site is citing this exchange as an example of Free Republic and Jim Robinson ‘purging’ anyone that doesn’t toe the line here at FR.”

It figures that freepers are too stupid to know how to read. The quote means that fascists will pretend to be Christians and Patriots while implementing fascism.

...Don’t you ever wonder how and why the politically inexperienced, bad boy, G W Bush, got himself born again, rehabilitated and groomed to become governor of Texas? Not to mention front-runner in the Presidential race? What experience did/does he have for either position? A Bush presidency will be very dangerous for America.

He quotes a socialist, athiest, and alcoholic in denigration of the flag and the cross when asked about Huckabee’s Christmas message. Sheesh. Are you an employee that has to pretend you don’t see the problem or that it’s a bone-headed move politically?

As I said...

It would seem to me that it's only "politically stupid" if the majority of the audience is subject to fits of hypersensitivity and/or overreaction - it would be expected of them to categorize any remarks Ron Paul makes in that context. As evidenced.

Now we've gone from Ron Paul "attacking" religion and patriotism to accusing someone of being a clueless employee of his campaign.

I think I've proven my point here.

Peel away the layers of a liberal, and it won’t take long to reveal someone who has real issues with God.

I’ve noticed that with just about everyone I know...not so much the ethereal abstract “God” but real issues with an active involved Lord Jesus.
