Revealed: 'Gay' plans to target 2-year-olds

Children as young as two years of age are in the bull's-eye of coming changes in California's school curriculum, which "gay rights" advocates now admit will alter the very foundation of information presented to public school classrooms.

Gov. Schwarzenegger

A list of school resources, sponsored by a homosexual-advocacy group called Safe Schools Coalition, suggests that for those who are only two years old, there's "Felicia's Favorite Story," which tells how she was "adopted by her two mothers."

The list also promotes a book called "Are You a Girl or a Boy?" by Karleen Jiminez, a resource for children ages 4-8 when advocating homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism and other alternative lifestyle choices.

It's described as "A sweet book about a gender-different kid."

Other resources being promoted in light of California's adoption of SB 777 as state law include books authored by officials for Planned Parenthood and the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network.

One book, called "Tackling Gay Issues in School," is for kindergarten through grade 12, and offers a "rationale (for the inclusion of les/bi/gay/trans issues in school)." It features recommended "extracurricular" activities for classes.

The promotion of such materials has coincided with the recent admission by Equality California, a homosexual advocacy group that worked to have SB 777 passed by lawmakers and signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, that the bill really does edit all school curricula in California.

I think that Arnold Schwarzenegger just lost all credibility.

Now THAT is funny. Just wanted to let ya know that someone appreciated it...

Christians could do this if they wanted.

Radical gays will infiltrate them, commit a vile act, and get them sued.

It's a proven method.

The Christian scholarship fund or the Christian schools?

By the way, I personally think that gays have infiltrated the government school system.

The Christian scholarship fund or the Christian schools?

Both, but primarily the latter, just the way they did to the seminaries.

By the way, I personally think that gays have infiltrated the government school system.

From W. Cleon Skousen's The Naked Communist, read into the Congressional Record in 1963:

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

We have sex outside of marriage, easy divorce, abortion on demand, sex used to sell in advertising, sex in movies...

You do? Well, stop immediately!

“I live in Virginia, otherwise I would go.”

You just hit on a key point. A lot of this stuff is location specific. If you don’t like the high taxes, endemic perversion and creepiness of Californication, New Yuck, or any of the other porn belt states, there are several other places to relocate to. U-haul even has an 800 number.

Lot ultimately decided to follow God and leave the perverts to their fate. He did the right thing.

“It’s time for decent humans to vacate Kaleefornia as quickly as possible. Run, don’t walk.”

Yup. I left the golden shower state many years ago. Even as a hedonistic pre-Christian, I thought the place had the stink of evil on it.

“My wife and I casually considered home schooling. But more and more we see it as not a choice, but as a need and survival instinct.”

Exactly.

“I’m often told silent majorities oppose the libs. If that’s so, maybe it’s about time for them to be a bit less silent...”

Therein lies the problem with our partisan politics. Our political system is efficient in that the elected leadership more or less represents the underlying attitudes of the electorate. For the most part our elections are free and fair.

Unhappy with the quality of elected representatives? Well, take an objective look and you’ll find that there isn’t much of a virtuous “silent majority” out there.

“Public schools don’t have to be this perverted. As a dichotomy, my daughters choir concert last night at her public school was replete with Christian songs about Jesus and His birth some of them even in Latin!”

No, the government schools don’t need to be as bad as they have become. That’s just where we happen to be at.

There’s little that you or I as individuals can do to change the situation other than to be honest with ourselves about what is happening, acting to protect our own children, and encouraging others to do the same.

“Will the churches step up and open schools to save Christian children, or will they tolerate this seduction of children to this evil life style?”

Why should the churches do what the parents won’t?

Every state in the country has provisions for home education. Every single one. Some states make it a pain in the posterior to do so, but home education is legal in every state. And the vast bulk of parents turn their children over to the government schools anyway.

The allure of subsidized day care is a powerful attractant indeed.

Wintertime:

The strategy is excellent. I approach it from a slightly different perspective in that I think it’s ultimately the parents, not the church, who are responsible for educating children.

A large part of the problem we see with government schools is that parents are too quick to want to turn the work of raising their children over to surrogates. There is a real danger in my view of setting up a church based alternative that allows parents to eagerly pass their responsibility on to a third party. Obviously I would prefer that to the status quo, but over time I expect you’re going to find the same problems cropping up as we have in the government schools.

You simply can’t get around the basic responsibility that parents have to raise and educate their own children. Churches can facilitate that, but ultimately the responsibility and rewards accrue to the parents.

Very important point! ( I suppose my Prussian-model Catholic schooling is showing.) :-)

By the way, I wrote a vanity piece on this topic. It hasn’t been pinged on the public school list yet. You might find it interesting:

It seems that the gay agenda lover straight people like Arnold and many others are doing just as bad as that 2 percent. If it was just the gays than we probably would not see so much agenda advancing. I just don’t understand the straight people getting behind all this stuff.

Worked in the Catholic Church and is moving in to other denominations as we write.
