Yes... well.. I don’t “Know” Dingy Harry.... but, I suspect that.. even he, says he’s “personally opposed” to abortion, but supports a woman’s “right to choose”. Harry is a Dem... who needs DEM votes... so, he will ‘modify’ his position as much as he needs to, to win!

Yep. And that is what Mitt is doing. Although he is NOT a flip flopper on abortion like he wants us to believe. He's been lying all these years to get elected Governor of MA. What's worse? A liar or a flip flopper?

That's the problem with Democracy and human nature. Power is addictive. People will say anything to get it. Politicians are like junkies who are willing to rob a pharmacy to get their hands on what's behind the counter.

-—The bill would have passed in Mass anyway, so Mitt went to the legislature and the NRA and got it to actually help gun owners in Mass.-—

Bingo! Mitt got something rather than nothing out of a negative situation. People that do this consistently are known as winners. Reagan was a winner and so is Mitt Romney!

Wyoming was a caucus, not a primary. That?s why.

So was Iowa and we heard about that starting at least 6 weeks ahead. Daily. Hour after hour. Polls telling us the Huckster was king. Over and over. So now I wonder if Wyoming left our union or what?

IMO Wyoming is ignored purposely because from the beginning the leftist media determined Romney would not be the Repub candidate. That's because they know he is presidential and is head and shoulders above any Dem candidate they can produce.

The NRA has had a part in writing every federal piece of gun legislation.

They aren’t as pro-2nd Amendment as one would hope.

I assume the pic in post #138 has been photoshopped to change a normal “C” to the star and crescent. If Obama were a stealth Muslim candidate, the last thing he would do is put a star and crescent on his podium.

He sure has it, doesn’t he. A very stark contrast to everyone else in both parties. Hillary looks depressed most of the time. I’ve see Romney look a little tired but never depressed like Hillary. She may refuse to debate him, knowing the damage that will follow. I strongly expect many Democrats will cross over and vote for Mitt. Many of them want what is best for the country. I’ll post another Mitt pic to you soon....he has some great ones.

Romney will get obliterated in a general election. Thompson wouldn’t but Romney would. No likes him and he doesn’t have a genuine conservative bone in his body.

I agree.. Mitt, more or less “lied” to get elected as Gov. of Mass.... but, that doesn’t bother me SO much... cause, I think he was trying to cover views that I AGREE with... in order to get elected in Mass. I’d rather he not had to LIE in Mass... but, that’s where he was.. and, what was neccesary there...

I worry less about changes in core positions now.

You are right, the star was poorly done, an obvious photoshop. If Obama were a stealth Muslim, he obviously wouldn’t put out a poster with a star and crescent on it. Of course, he might actually BE a stealth Muslim, but the pic is fake.

Maybe. But that doesn’t negate the fact that we took 8 of the 12 delegates Wyoming had. Heh, heh, heh! It’s the delegates that count!

Suggested lines for the Hill Rodhog, AKA “The Beast”.

1. “I be married to the first black President.”

2. “You know what they say about black men... yall know Bubba be bigger”

3. “Chelsea gots an afro too”

4. “I be wearin a doo rag and bling when yall be done elect’n me”

5. “Bubba aint be cookin grits when I’s be president, he be diplomattin”

The tax cuts on the upper income levels have been a hammer in the hands of the Dems for eight years - why give it to them (the Dems)? We have huge deficits, and raisng the tax on the upper levels is one way to deal with it. You don’t have to have a “class warfare” mentality to agree with that. I don’t hate the “rich,” but they can easily absorb higher taxes.
