HMMMMMMM. The sidebar and my ping page has the same size text, other than the thread titles. Titles are like 12 pitch in Times New Roman and the actual text is about 10 pitch.

I get my pings page when I click Pings at the top upper right, but when I click on the post number I wish to answer it does not take me into the thread as of old. Nothing happens. I am looking at my ping numbers then coming back to the thread to answer the posts.

Will there ever be a “hit counter” again on threads to see how many individuals have read that particular story?

I liked that feature, too. Bring back the thread view counter. The new changes look wonderful. Keep up the good work.

Perhaps this was already explained but what is the purpose of the Activity tab? Is that where all the really “hopping” threads are? I’m afraid I’m missing something on Forum. And what about Comments? I’m confused on the purpose of the tabs. I only found this thread by going into Activity. Thanks again for all you do! ;)

P.S. When I open a thread, the page jumps down to the last post so I have to drag the page alllllllll the way up. Is this just me?

I’m very upset that my pings aren’t lighting up! I’m like the woman sitting by the phone checking to see if it’s working because nobody is calling. ;) The colors are giving me a headache and I’m totally lost. And when I open a thread, the page leaps to the bottom and last post.

I had to disable my firewall to make my Pings page work.
I need somebody to come and clean up my screw-ups on my computer.

Thank you. I did figure that out between the time I made that post and now, but I still don't like the extra step in this process. And there are "extra steps" in doing other searches on FR as well, now, that I can't stand... extra steps add up and increase wasted time.

These "improvements" are so unnessary, IMO. FR wasn't broke, why "fix" it? As FReeper Vision has said, all the fun of navigating FR is now gone...

I haven't the slightest idea. I clicked on it and because even more confused. The more stuff I click on, the more confused I get.

What does "RSS" stand for... does anyone know?

I also still don't understand what the difference between "Articles" and "Activity" is. And I hate the way it defaults to Articles. I liked it when it defaulted to "Comments", er, I mean "Full Comments".

Please take note of my vanity about search problems beyond the first page (see Bug in FR title search function and suggested temporary fix ).

The main problem is that the first search page returns 20 titles but the next follow-up page starts at 50 instead of continuing from 20. Thirty titles are lost leading to duplicate posts and other problems. This is the way the title search returns posts in the current system; thirty titles are skipped each time:
1-20
51-70
101-120
(etc.)
