Barack Obama is preparing to deliver a major address Tuesday on race, politics and unifying the country after being hounded by questions about his relationship to a pastor whose sermons have been laced with anti-American invective.
In a speech whose religious significance could compare to one given in December by former GOP presidential hopeful and Mormon Mitt Romney, Obama may be forced to explain the philosophy of the 8,000-strong Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, where the Democratic presidential candidate has been a congregant for 20 years.
In announcing the morning address, to be delivered in Philadelphia, Obama would not say specifically what he will discuss, but suggested he wants to cool down the atmosphere after incendiary remarks by his pastor, retired Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., blanketed the airwaves over the past week.

If I'm not mistaken, Jesse Jackson once said that he felt relieved when a group of guys he encountered at night turned out to be white and not black. I'll try to find a link to that story.

Excusing Wright’s speech - Wright is a victim.
Black politicians have been running the South Side of Chicago since before Prohibition and they drive the finest cars, play with the finest black and white women and amass a fortune, and still, their neighborhoods go to the dogs.
I am tired of hearing about whites screwing over blacks. It’s always been equal opportunity in Chicago.

The fact that 90% of blacks are voting for him demonstrates how polarized the Dem electorate is. He is the beneficiary of that polarization despite denouncing it.

Bingo. There appears to be a bit of their culture that is not based on a monogamous two parent family. It seems perfectly acceptable and expected that grandparents raise kids.
I bet there are stats that show that show no matter the race, two parent households are successful and those that aren’t are typically less successful.
This is the sort of thing I think of when I listen to Obama - or ANY other ‘RAT - give a speech from their “hearts”:
