Assuming he wins, he will most likely only serve one term, that makes Palin the nominee in 2012. The Left will have no choice but to go crawling back to Hillary to face her meaning that regardless of the outcome of the 2012 election John McCain has made sure that the next President will be a woman. That's “Change”...nObama is still just talking about it

And someone needs to piont out to Hillary supporters that that only works if McCain-Palin wins now. Otherwise Hillary has no chance until 2016.

THANKS for your writeup! For the first time I'm a bit excited about this election. When I look at McCain, I don't want to even vote, and when I look at Obama, I see someone I want to vote against.

Now I see someone who I can vote FOR, thank you for properly introducing me to Sarah Palin.

“Will John just use Conservatives to win the election and then give us tha back of his hand once again or has he learned anything at all in the last 20 months?”

I look forward to having to face that possibility; it would mean that Obama is not the President of anything other than his own ego.

From another source:

KMOV reported on the Missouri rally: McCain spotlighted Palin at the suburban St. Louis rally -- giving her the clean-up speaking spot on a stage erected over the ballfield's home plate. She got an enthusiastic reception from the crowd that filled the infield bleachers and spread from the dirt base paths into the outfield grass. At various times, they chanted, "Sarah, Sarah."

The ball team's president said the stadium holds about 15,000 for such concert-style events. Republican consultant John Hancock, who served as master of ceremonies for the event, estimated there were about 20,000 people

Why does it seem that some people look for faults in everything? You have some people looking through a pile of dirt, find some gold and get all excited. Then you get the people who look through a pile of gold, and find a clod of dirt! They get all excited and say: “I just knew I’d find some dirt in here somewhere!

My point in all of the above is that there are people on FR who seem to only find dirt (or poo) in a pile of gold! In other words, they look for faults and they find only faults. Instead, you’d think they would look for good things, and actually find good things!

Palin as prez in 2012. Of course its not a sure thing, and its probably a longshot, but we got nothing else going at this point and I am bettin on the longshot.

Exactly. It is nothing but pure speculation among those desperately seeking a reason to support a socialist who will give us four to eight more years of the same situation as Bush has given us by allowing illegal immigrants to destroy the country by pouring in through our borders, cause hospitals to close and make it easier for terrorist to pose as illegals and destroy us from within. I'll pass on voting for someone who'll give us more of the same.

What is your suggestion that we do? Obviously its not "vote McCain" so what is it?

It absolutely astounds me repeatedly give this deer in the headlights answer when it is so simple. Try actually having some backbone and refuse to vote for a socialist who will give you the very type of situation and government you oppose!

How about doing some research and vote for conservative candidates who are not from either of the socialist parties? That's what I have been doing and will continue to do right up to election day and will vote for a candidate who is not from the Republicrat party. Why is this such a hard concept to understand? Where is it written you must vote for socialists from the two parties who both offer candidates that will only give us more illegal aliens?

Answer #1. Anyone of them.
Answer #2. Which ever one kills the Terminator first.
They are drawing straws for it now.

I keep watching your posts and wonder when you’re going to work for something less than the holy grail.
So what have you done lately to mitigate the incoming socialist wave? Huh? You want to talk alot but you don’t have ideas or solutions as far as I’ve heard. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Get off your fat A$$ and tell us what you think should be happening and - as I asked earlier, what ticket is YOUR ideal.
Tell you honestly, I thought you were a fairly competent individual. But your conduct in this discussion just sez you’re a paid demo hack!
Prove your point, get off your horse, stuff your attitude, go away or start sharing the incredible knowledge that you say you have.

Yes there are - and you should know better than to say otherwise.

A little bit of socialism only begets more socialism. It this incrementalism in the GOP that has resulted in the GOP merging its ideology with the socialist Democrats to the point they are essentially one party all for the sake of the former trying to expand its voter base. I can't think of a more pathetic reason to sacrifice conservative principles.

Johnny Mac has been misled on some issues like global warming but nothing that a little up front education won’t fix. Sarah is just the common sense sort of person that can add a little reality to his gig. Take faith and suck it up.

Misled? Talk about putting spin on a situation. McCain is not a victim here. He's known for twenty years what he has been doing. Two months of "education" before the Presidential election from a neophyte politician on the federal level who will be his underling will not change what McCain has been knowingly and willingly doing for the last twenty years.

It's naive to think she will have any effect considering Presidential candidates pick a running mate precisely because the latter has agreed to support the former on a majority of the issues other wise that person would not be on the ticket. This means Palin is supporting someone who has voted with the socialist Democrats on many issues over two decades. McCain has already made her change her mind, assuming she was conservative before being chosen, as would be expected since a Presidential candidate is the one who sets the agenda for his or her administration. The VP is only a subordinate who takes orders.

I must respectfully disagree. Do you honestly think that McCain is as far left as Barry???

A little bit of socialism only begets more socialism. Incremental socialism has been occurring in the GOP for years. Many in the GOP are frogs in the proverbial pot being slowly cooked in the socialist stew without knowing it until it is too late. Your remarks and similar statements couldn't make it more evident this is occurring.

And he picked a solid conservative who could run in 2012 (if there is a 2008 victory).

How solid can she be considering a person can only be a VP running mate by agreeing to support a Presidential candidate on a majority of the issues and knowing she is supporting someone who has voted time and time again with the socialist Democrats on a multitude of issues?

Who would your choice be? (of the viable candidates)

I've been doing my research and will do so for the next two months. I can guarantee you those I'm considering are not either of the two socialist candidates from the Republicrat party. It will be a conservative.

Nothing you’ve said advances your arguements. And you sound like a marxist educated little debate puppy.
So come clean.
What’s the problem with a 1 term pres passing the torch to a competent (female) conservative.
Or if we-all have a problem defining “conservative” perhaps you would like to share what your definition of conservative is// please?

Big events cost money.

There was another post here on FR that suggested Obama may not be so flush with money.

Hillary supporters are not giving money to obama and his goal of 100 million in one month was only 50 million last month.

ALSO in the same post it mentioned the Obama Temple rally cost 100 million to stage.

I bet Obama would not have canceled the Barakopolis for any hurricane.

As a former Socialist (SWP 1979-83) I can assure you, McCain ain't a Socialist, capital s or small s.

Oh really? what do you call someone who sponsred legislation with socialists Keenedy, Lieberman and Feingold for amnesty for illegal aliens, Supporting the fallacy of human induced global warming and restricting free speech under the guise of campaign fianace reform? I suggest you reconsider after reviewing McCain's history.

The video does touch on a number of topics, and I think most are germane ) If I could have found video that contained most of this information without touching on McCain's POW experience I would have posted it instead. Don’t ever bet his organization has no $$$$’s
He’s got a lot more horsepower thru Kos/Soro/Moveon and recently others. I think the fact that the dems will outspend reps on this election is obvious for now...

That said, I’m looking for the right venue to pump cash toward - but the RNC has been totally dissapointing to me. I’m pretty much going to target specific races where I can feel confident the recipients are aligned correctly.

To your other observation....
Look at how much money was spent on a massive fireworks display while demo folks were eating crap greeny food. How many carbon credits did the demo idiots pay to AlGore for dispensation on the event? Hypocrites? You tell me.

Look clown...

Someone is getting a little to bit annoyed with the truth about your socialist candidate aren't you?

So what have you done lately to mitigate the incoming socialist wave?

Well let's see, for one thing I don't vote for socialists but apparently that simple but very effective concept is lost on you.

You want to talk alot but you don’t have ideas or solutions as far as I’ve heard. Correct me if I’m wrong.

Why is it so hard for you eager McCain loving socialist beavers to understand voting for a socialist only gets you more socialism? Are you that desperate that you deceive yourselves into thinking you are actually voting for a conservative in McCain knowing you will get at least four more years of the same illegal alien loving candidate as we've had with Bush? The fact you somehow you think that is better than the socialist from the other party hugging illegals is truly astounding.

Tell you honestly, I thought you were a fairly competent individual. But your conduct in this discussion just sez you’re a paid demo hack!

Right. I'm a political hack by pointing out the disaster of more illegal immigration we've already experienced with Bush and other GOP elites. Go ahead and give a big wet kiss to the terrorists posing as illegals because that is essentially what either of the two socialists candidates will do. That's not to mention both support the human induced global warming scam simply to impose more regulation to control the masses.

Prove your point, get off your horse, stuff your attitude, go away or start sharing the incredible knowledge that you say you have.

Stop sleeping on your keyboard. I've been repeatedly providing links to articles showing McCain's socialist. It's amazing you prefer to kill the messenger and defend someone who has repeatedly thumbed his nose at conservatives for two decades!
