I don’t know if ya’ll remember Ferraro’s run - and the incredible crowds that showed up to see a woman who had
a shot at the Vice Presidency - and maybe the Presidency.
They were huge crowds of mothers bringing their daughters
to see Ferraro.

I expect to see it all over again for a Republican. This
should create huge crowds across the nation that are
very excited.

, and replying posts pointed out that Obambi has to have a rock band go first in order to get those sizes of crowds.

At Invesco field he really did have 75,000 but all the other reported crowds are wildy inflated. He has A rock Band before AND After to ensure attendance, and in Germany he had free BEER and pizza!

Despite that, in Berlin the crowd was well below 50,000. You saw what Invesco Field looked like with 75,000 - do really believe that THREE times that crowd stood on the three 120 ft wide streets that lead to the Victory Column? They'd have stretched for well over a mile.

Same thing with Portland, the park used for the rally couldn't hold more than 35,000 if they tried, yet they reported 80,000

As bad as some of his policies are...

Is he as far left and dangerous as Barry?

The Palin effect: crowd size

At this point, size means everything - no?

The Palin bouncy-bouncy bounce...

Oh brother! NOW you've done it. My young innocent mind is thoroughly corrupted by nasty thoughts.

(That's almost as distracting as Xena's vaseline-covered Twister board ....)

I said back in February when McCain won the nomination that my concerns was although conservatives will hold their noses and vote for him, they won’t be enthusiastic, that means they won’t donate money, and they won’t volunteer time.

And without those 2 things, he can’t win. That’s always the danger of appealing to the moderates. Because ultimately moderates are moderates because they aren’t passionate about politics, and you don’t win a presidential election without people who are passionate for your victory.

That’s the difference Sarah Palin has made, the conservative base is passionate again because they actually have a conservative on the ticket to vote for. We’re seeing this now with the money pouring in, with the size of the crowds. The entire race has changed.

This was something Romney could not have done, as much as I like Mitt, rightly or wrongly, the evangelicals would never have gotten passionate behind him.

Socialism is still socialism regardless of whether there is an R or D after a candidate's name. There aren't degrees of socialism.

and considering Obama has to piggyback on other events to boost his numbers, or use foreigners, it’s pretty good for McCain. 15-20,000 is amazing considering he is not a media darling, or a darling of young, out-of-work losers.

Ridiculous. Not only that, I get the impression that Palin is not in the slightest bit of a socialist.

I think the Left has greatly underestimated the “PUMA” vote. They down played it all they could but those ladies got madder and madder. According to the HC web sites they are over the moon with Palin and lets be honest, those ladies that were behind Hillary worked their butts off generating support and now they are out doing it for McCain. I would not be shocked by seeing a lot of blue states turning red over the next couple of months.

Limp wristed jonnie martin could write that Gov. Palin walks on water, and I wouldn’t click a link for the story.

Everything he writes has an anti-Conservative agenda, in one way or another.

He’s a left wing coward, and butt buddy to alana colmes.

I have to give McCain credit for this scam. His ploy of bringing on board someone who people at least precieve is a conservative has made people forget McCain is a socialist.

No one has forgotten. We know we will have to fight McCain tooth and nail after the election. But that is better than fighting the Stalinists of bambi, which could actually end up in an armed struggle. We are looking to the future with Palin, as a great veep and then as a great President. McCain is just a means to an end.

Out of desperation, John McRino stopped holding hands with Ted Kennedy and Joe Lieberman and has reached across the asile to conservatives with his selection of Sarah as his running mate.

Conservatives are now flocking to the ticket and opening up their wallets and purses as we said we would.

Will John just use Conservatives to win the election and then give us tha back of his hand once again or has he learned anything at all in the last 20 months?

I'm no fan of McCain either, but he is delivering. Assuming he wins, he will most likely only serve one term, that makes Palin the nominee in 2012. The Left will have no choice but to go crawling back to Hillary to face her meaning that regardless of the outcome of the 2012 election John McCain has made sure that the next President will be a woman. That's “Change”...nObama is still just talking about it.

You need to read my post a little more thouroughly my response from the original statement: "Is he as far left and dangerous as Barry?"

My response had nothing to do with Palin.

Your post reminds me of a joke that I heard discussing President Bush being able to walk on water.

The New York Times, reported the incident on their front page with the headline:

BUSH CAN'T SWIM
