Wow, Wow, a Thousand Times Wow

What did we see tonight?

Tonight, we either saw a watershed in American politics, a tour de force, the most striking and graceful debut in our nation’s political life, and a national introduction that makes Barack Obama’s 2004 convention address look like small potatoes… or we saw what we wanted to see, and the country’s persuadable independents saw something else. I’m afraid to believe. If I’m wrong, I don’t really know what Americans want. I know conservatives are thrilled to pieces, and they ought to be. She knocked it out of the park. I don’t think she could have delivered that speech any better. Even if I hadn’t suggested a line, I would say that the speech hit almost every note just right. (Did the Obama fans feel this way? Is this what their exultation feels like? Wonderful. I’m glad they get to experience it too.)

My e-mail box is thrilled. Cam's Talkbackers are thrilled — "you called down the thunder, and now ya have it."

McCain should air, in part, "live" short talks by Gov. Palin in lieu of slick productions.

I think she can go over the heads of the MSM, Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party), "intellectuals," et al. She's a "Ronda Reagan."

Fireside chats with Sarah Palin! Stay directly in touch with the American people.

And did she ever put the likes of Campbell Brown, Keith Olberfuhrer, Katie Couric, and the rest of the media frauds in their place. They look like bigger idiots than ever for alleging that Sarah Palin was somehow minor league and lacking in knowledge or qualifications. Joe Biden probably wet himself tonight thinking about having to debate her. Obama was shown up to be the poseur he is. A “community organizer” whose main accomplishment is writing two egotistical autobiographies, while failing to draft a single piece of important legislation.

He’s the most unqualified major party candidate in a century or more. A total empty suit fraud.

My brother called and started singing Happy Days Are Here Again.
Giuliani and Sarah were incredible.
Best convention speeches.. ever.
We are so stoked !!
O’Reilly will try and rehabilitate Obama tomorrow, but, Obama and the MSM were taken to the wood shed tonight.
NBC and CNN panels were typically sour.
Brian Williams read something on air that was full of shoddy internet rumors about Palin.
Like she burned books.
Unbelievable.

Absolutely fantastic. And the problem is, the harder Barack Obama and his campaign tries to destroy Gov. Palin, the more Obama’s efforts will resemble his primary attacks upon Hillary Clinton.

This lady isn’t afraid of anyone, certainly not the two candidates on the Jackass Party ticket.

She was so smoooooooooooooooooth!

Her timing was impeccable. Her enunciation wonderful.
And she delivers those sharp lines with such a beautiful smile.

Sarah Barracuda, you have rocked our world.

> she slaughtered a small cow at the podium.

A cow?

Looked more to me like she was slaughtering a Donkey to feed to her sled huskies.

Moose stew, all around! And keep it coming.

LOL.

You are absolutely right. Palin is very impressive. She delivered big time for the Republican party tonight. The Republican party is more than united. This is going to a very exciting political campaign.

“it appears its no longer hold your nose and vote mccain. Open your eyes and vote Palin.

Palin 2012”

Well said.
She is the most fantastic addition to main stage republican moversandshakers. Heck- she is THE moverandshaker!
She will be there for us when Johnny Mac has to step down. I can sleep much better tonite knowing all the right choices have been made and we actually have the right ticket.
But now it’s a matter of mechanics. One thing the consumate “organizer” has done is mobilize a ton of people - black and young- that, frankly, need to be educated.
The Republicans MUST reach to these groups - not with $ giveaways and false promises - but with honest plans for a future.

We saw a woman who will be finishing her second term in the Oval Office the year her first grandchild (yet unborn) is getting his drivers license.

You think the child will be getting a license at age 12?

I’m with you there. Sarah Palin is a Reagan Republican to be sure. I’m definately feeling a chill down my spine, and pride again in being a conservative.

Thanks for posting! Love the slogan.

Sarah Palin has the unusual quality of inspiring people to do things they haven’t done before. I felt that after the introduction Friday. She brings out the best in people and makes difficult things seem possible. If I sound giddy it’s because I am!

Reagan also had this quality as exemplified by his “shining city on a hill” speeches.

That’s her charm. No long, involved, “soaring rhetoric”.

Just “I sold the jet” — pause— “on E-bay! Which brought the house down!

Sarah Palin knows how to deliver!!

As Harold Wolfson said “With her family lined up there, it was priceless.”

And how about that adorable little Piper—waving to everyone. What a little trouper!

Meagan’s Blog tomorrow will be terrific!

God once again has smiled down on America in time of great spiritual need, and blessed us with Sarah Palin.

A week ago, she was practically unknown outside Alaska.

Five and a half days later, she is known world-wide.

A week ago, the biggest crowd she had ever spoken too was perhaps a few thousand people.

Five and one half days later, she spoke before millions, around the globe.

She is a woman who knows her God, her husband, her family, the people she swore an oath to serve, and she knows America.

She is centered, knows herself, and because she has done even small things with integrity, she will handle the most difficult things the same way.

In five and one half days, this woman has united the Republican Party, fired up its base, driven the media nuts, put the Democrats in fear, and has taken on her opponents squarely. She has personalized the mothers of America who raise children, who work, who achieve. She can bring home the bacon, fry it up in the pan—hell, she even can shoot the bacon!

In five and one half days, this great woman has given us hope that America has a bright future and we will beat back the Democrats who want to defeat and shackle America.

She is the next Ronald Reagan.

And she will be the first woman President of the united States of America.

Thank You, Lord, for your grace to our undeserving wayward nation in its time of need. Thank You for Sarah Palin.
