Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has pleaded guilty to felony charges in Wayne County Circuit Court. He will be forced to resign immediately.

Ella Bully Cummings resigned also. Every time I saw and heard her talk, the “Bully” was apparent.
Can't he appeal that, plus losing his law license? If so, perhaps he'll get one or both back somewhere down the road. I'd hate to see that, but you know how the system is when it comes to catering to scumbags.
Did you not hear?... AFTER this deal was finally settled last night...then and only THEN...Barry made the decisive call for Kwame to resign!!!! Now thats what I call LEADERSHIP!(??)

Kwame has two weeks to remain mayor under the plea deal. He’ll supposedly work with incoming Cockrel (Sheila Cockrel’s stepson) during those two weeks to smooth the transition.
This ain’t over, folks. During the hearing Kwame was shaking his head and muttering “I did’t do it.” He STILL believes he’s the one wronged and there’s a lot of anger swaggering around in his bulky frame, looking for an outlet. Ask the police officers trying to serve Ferguson with a subponea. There’s a lot of damage Kwame can do before the cuffs are slapped on him.
