Some people don't understand the difference between honesty and candor, or in this case an excess of candor!
You can be honest in telling people what they are entitled to know but you don't have to "volunteer" your own opinion about something that is shooting yourself in the foot (or worse). What position does this put Obama into, telling the entire world that Hillary would have been a better VP pick?

If Hillary is back in the race, the MSM will announce it as if it were the 2nd coming of Jesus himself.
We still have a month and a half - plenty of time for the MSM to re-boost BO - heralding him as a man of fluidity - willing and able to change with the demands of the office.
If it looks like Biden is out, color me VERY afraid.

I don’t know if you’ve picket it up, but the ‘Rats must really be terrified. I’ve watched elections for years, and I’ve never seen this frantic.
For all of Biden’s ineffectiveness as a running mate, I can’t imagine that choosing a new running mate at the last moment could help his campaign. If anything, it would make him look opportunistic (like the McGovern/Eagleton fiasco in 1972) and indecisive. But if he’s going to self-destruct, the GOP shouldn’t do anything to stop him.
