Fight The Smears [fightthesmears.com, my.barackobama.com] has changed their webpage on which it has the Obama COLB posted. Here's the new link:

They still label the image as "Obama's original birth certificate," but at the top, they've added a header with a close-up of the COLB's masthead, and the following text:
Smears claiming Barack Obama doesn’t have a birth certificate aren’t actually about that piece of paper — they’re about manipulating people into thinking Barack is not an American citizen.
The truth is, Barack Obama was born in the state of Hawaii in 1961, a native citizen of the United States of America.
Next time someone talks about Barack’s birth certificate, make sure they see this page

I’ve been wondering about this birth certificate thing for a long time.
A few years ago I sent in for a copy of mine. I’ve never seen the original. At the top is Commonwealth of Pennsylvania - Department of Health, vital records, Certificate of Birth. At the bottom is the notation that it is a true copy of the record on file so I assume it is identical to the original. All it contains is my name, sex, date and county of birth. Nothing about parentage or race.
A question for people familiar with Pennsylvania Birth Certificates - was this common during the 1940s?
Below is an outline for you to demand that YOUR STATE verify that Obama is a natural born citizen. The FEDS may not do it but WE have a better chance forcing our state to verify the information, OR we’ll pull him off the ballot.

I am a registered (YOUR STATE) (Dem-REPUB-IND) and a long time voter. According to the Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1, Clause 5:
No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States
I respectfully request that the laws of the U.S. Constitution be enforced. Furthermore, please demand that the Democratic Presidential Nominee Senator Barrack Hussein Obama be required to provide (1) a certified copy of the vault Certificate of Birth; (2) a certified copy of the Oath of Allegiance he would have had to take between the ages of 18-21 to regain his U.S. citizenship after leaving Indonesia; and (3) verify that he registered in the selective service (he would have had to do this within six (6) months of turning eighteen (18).
Before Senator Obama is named on a (YOUR STATE) state ballot for the office of President, the foregoing documents must be produced. Unless Sen. Obama produces evidence to the contrary, I believe he:
• Is not a natural-born citizen; and/or
• Lost his citizenship when he was adopted in Indonesia; and/or
• Has dual loyalties because of his citizenship with Kenya and Indonesia.
Numerous questions raised about Obama’s background have no satisfactory answers:
• Where was Obama born? Hawaii; an island off of Hawaii; Kenya; Canada?
• School records list Obama as a citizen of Indonesia. Was he a citizen of Kenya, Indonesia and/or Canada?
• Explanation of the names he has used: Barack Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Dunham, & Barry Dunham.
• Illinois Bar Application – Obama fails to acknowledge use of names other than Barack Hussein Obama,
As Attorney Generals of the U.S. and (YOUR STATE), Secretary of State of (YOUR STATE), and(USE IF YOU SEND TO YOUR GOVERNOR) Governor of (your state) , I request that you investigate the possible forgery of a Hawaii Certification of Live Birth and require Sen. Obama to answer whether he was ever a citizen of Indonesia and further require him to submit all documentation that led up to him being a U.S. citizen. Senator Obama has refused and/or failed to provide proof of his birth as a natural born U.S. citizen. A falsified birth certificate has circulated the Internet and has been proven by experts to be a forgery. Additionally, a lawsuit has been filed against Sen. Obama, Berg v. Obama, Civil Action No. 08-cv-4083 regarding his qualifications to become President of the U.S.
As a natural citizen of the U.S. and a dedicated American patriot, I am adamant for the security of our nation that we choose our elected officials as required in our federal and state constitutions and laws.
Please require that Senator Obama provide absolute proof that he is a natural born citizen of the U.S. before his name is placed on the (YOUR STATE) state ballot for President of the United States. Thank you.

No, because she did not fit the definition of living in the US at least 10 years, five of which over the age of 16. She was 18 when she had him and obviously his father didn’t qualify either.
It does not make sense. If you are going to release the “REAL” birth certificate to an organization, even one in the tank for you, why take a photograph of it? Why not scan it in?

Their "fight the smears" page consistently distorts the alleged "smear" in order to refute it
For example, when Obama was criticized for removing the giant Stars and Stripes from the tail of his campaign plane and replacing it with his logo "Fight the smears" claimed that he was being smeared for "not having the American flag on his plane".
They then "refuted" the smear by pointing to the tiny flag painted next to the registration numbers that ALL planes have if they are used for international flights.
Exactly. But by scanning it in, people will be able to show that it is a fake. They tried to slip one by again, but people are not falling for it ( except the O-holes ).

Citizenship is in the eye of the beholder. Different countries have different rules. For example, you could be born in the USA (American citizen) of a French mother (French Citizen) and a German father (German citizen) You could have three different passports, But America would only view you as an American, Germany and/or France might recognize all three nationalities.

The people who showed that the COLB is fake found a Hawaiian newspaper of the proper date that listed BHO under live berths. That information comes directly from the hospitals. So it’s clear that he was born in the USA. Perhaps there’s problem getting a birth certificate because he was adopted.

I was trying to say (agreeing with you) that the passage that I copied (from fight-the-smears) was a ridiculous and incorrect characterization of the issue.
Yes, though weren’t some people here claiming that at the time the Constitution was written, ‘natural born’ was also taken to mean without the divided loyalties of any dual citizenship? I don’t think that’s ever been established in court and wouldn’t be upheld in this case, but that was also part of the argument.
Also, this ‘debunking’ doesn’t address the theory that Obama was adopted by his Indonesian stepfather and given an Indonesian passport at that time, but if he then later traveled to Pakistan on that passport, as is suspected, over the age of 18 that that would have been taken as a disowning of his other, American, citizenship.
I don’t think any of this is going anywhere, btw.
...thanks, I’m getting a little touchy I guess. Can’t get over how and why in the course of so many discussions on this subject, it seems we are left with the need to prove obama’s eligibility - instead of addressing WHY there’s a FORGERY of a Certificate of Live Birth displayed on his website.

Yep. That’s what it’s all about. It’s not up to us to establish where he was born - it’s up to obama to explain why the forgery EXISTS! And what is he hiding?

Citizenship guidlines were changed under the fourteenth amendment, so it wouldn’t matter how people understood citizenship when the Constitution itself was written.

I was trying to say that it doesn’t matter how the general public understood the term “natural born” back when the Constitution was adopted. What matters is how the people understood the words in the first section of the fourteenth amendment, which was adopted long after the Constitution was written.
