Those voting “NO” are quite the conglomeration of Left and Right. Conyers, Jackson-Lee, John Lewis, Jessie Jackson Jr. all voted “No”.

For one reason, and one reason only: ACORN removed from bill.

CNBC

One Dem Congressman said he voted against this bill, because calls from his constituents were running 100-to-1 against it.

Another said he had constituents to face, rather than ‘fat cats’ on Wall Street.

LOL

Paulson LIVE statement:

Very disappointed.

Foreign markets under stress.

Families feel credit crunch.

==

CNBC commentators are upset that Paulsen is upset that they can’t get the bailout.

[CNBC sure is spinning FOR this bailout.]

Did you happen to notice which one, or which state?

Nancy Pelosi screwed the pooch by trying to blame this mess on Republicans and then expecting the Republicans to vote "yes" on it. She is an incompetent idiot!!

.

If composited at I-M over a 30 frame scrolling text .gif the Buzzards.gif will composite at 30 frames

If you create a 15 frame scrolling text .gif the Buzzards.gif will composite at 15 frames at I-M

That is how I control the frames

Sometimes a .gif with fewer frames must be composited first - then the .gif with more frames added yo it - or else distortion or a lousy .gif is the result

I do that by adding TP BG to the larger frame .gif

Then cropping off the image in the center

Resize the blank TP BG to size wanted

Composite on the smaller frames .gif

Then composite on the larger number of frames .gif

That often produces excellent results

And not “frame by frame”

Secy of Treasury Paulson is on FNC now with his DOOM story again

Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs - a huge democrat

- Capitalism for his wallet

- Socialism to bail him out when he makes bad decisions

Just like NJ Governor Jon Corizon - democrat - Goldman Sachs - bankrupting New Jersey

Why President GW Bush appointed democrat Herb Paulson to be Secy Treas is beyond all rational comprehension!

Dems in Congress are now threatening a bigger bailout than $700 will now be required “to save America”

(D-CA) House Speaker Nancy Pelosi could not get 67% of her own democrats to vote for the Bailout Bill

67% of House Republicans voted “Nay” today

America said “NO” loudly and clearly

New CNBC spin:

The Feds/pols are trying to do just the opposite of what happened in the Great Depression — when they tightened money. They are trying to make money available this round.

==

One CNBC commentor concludes: Main Street [that be us] doesn’t trust Wall Street and Capitol Hill.

Doh! One guy gets it.

“The stock market is now crashing, and worst of all Obama will very likely be elected POTUS. I’m not in a good mood at all.”

DITTOS. Anyone highfiving at this time is nuts, even if you dont like the bill.

If the stock market dives more, we have just delivered the Presidency to Barack Obama.

My congressman, Dave Weldon, voted for it too....sigh

I was a loyal volunteer (he's from my county)...

..but he's not running again, so WHY did he allow THIS to be his legacy?

He seemed consistently conservative on issues...(we have a strongly conservative district)....

So WHY did he do it???????...WHY Dave did you do it????

WHO or WHAT got to you?

If this is a current, non-photoshopped picture, Nancy appears to have aged 20 years overnight. Perhaps Dems have begun to notice that she has accomplished exactly nothing during her tenure as speaker.

That gif is 470x93 just 45.2KB. Sometimes things composite well at IM, sometimes they don’t. We all have out ways of doing things.

I didn’t realize you had composited them.

It has been several weeks since Ike. The last time oil was around 98 a barrel, gas was around 2.20 a gallon. In my town it is 3.65. Explain that.

Thank You congressmen Duncan-R and Wamp-R of Tennessee for taking the needed Conservative stand and voting NO! Lamar Alexander take notice. The people of our state do not want a bailout. Pay da Bush’s back for their favors to ya some other way but not at our expense. No Bailout Senator.

Yo NavVet—That’s the spirit. If you have some loose bucks it’s a great time to buy. You might want to wait a day or two, though. It will probably go a little lower.

I’m USA ret’d myself. I’ve always challenged myself to benefit from chaos.

Thanks for your service.

>>Great buying opportunity.

Its nice that some people on FR get it even if the rest of the nation doesn't. Those who look to Govt. or the news for advice on financial freedom will invariably do the opposite of what they should.

When the stock market plunges the poor (and middle class) get hysterical and sell while the rich buy. Now is the time to buy.

When the housing market turns down everyone wants to sell their homes. Anyone with brains knows now is the time to buy. I'll be buying a home soon as I recently moved for a new job. The "housing market" is great.

Grinch alert!

CNBC female commentator just said the department stores and retailers might not be able to borrow money to buy their Christmas stocks!

[The Republicans in the House stole Christmas. CNBC commentators are in meltdown because this bailout hasn't happened.]

Finally, Free Market Darwinism returns. All dynasties and business giants eventually fall. Let Fannie Mae burn and make way for new businesses.

What a maroon you prove yourself to be! Bwahahahahahahaha ... what a day! Comedy relief at FR. It doesn't get any better than this.

I wish it were a joke. Yes I have seen the SINGLE ad about Franklin Raines. However, imagine if McCain had exposed 40 million people on Friday night to the CRA, to ACORN and to Obama's "community organizing" for ACORN which consisted of suing banks to make subprime loans. Then denounce Obama and Democrats for adding ACORN pork to the bailout bill. Had he done this, which our firm urged him to do, he would have been a hero for getting the ACORN pork removed today. And he would have laid the groundwork, which Sarah could continue on Thursday, for the "Burning Down the House" narrative.
