Joe nailed it.

Gave ABC a little bit of reality.

I suspect this is the last we will hear from Joe from the MSM. Newsrooms all over the country are freaking out about how to handle “Worker Joe”. You know that Axelrod is having a conniption fit that they are putting Mr. Joe the Plubmer on the air.

I friggin love it! I am on board with Palin / Joe the Plubmer ticket in 2012.

I thought I saw that running through Joe's mind when Sawyer brought up the figure of $250,000, but he realized that it was way too complicated to explain.

I am self-employed, have been so for years, and my father was (with some brief exceptions) always self-employed (now he's retired). My husband is also presently self-employed.

We know first-hand how ill informed most people are, regardless of politics, of the difference in tax structure for employees and self-employed. When an employee says he gets paid, say, $25 an hour on hourly wage, it's really more like $35 an hour when all is said and done; the self-employed person has to charge about $35 an hour in order to bring home the same bacon as the employee whose paycheck reads "$25" an hour. I understand why Joe didn't want to go there. Sawyer is clearly too dim-witted to get any of it.

You could tell from the condescending laughter that Sawyer was thinking “I’ll smoke this Rube...” Then Joe went on to give this arrogant fool a lesson in Constitutional morality. It was a thirty second b*tch slapping.

Hey, this is my kind of intelligent American. Way to go, Joe. Maybe I’ll have to reduce my 2/3 of Americans are brain dead to 60% of Americans are brain dead. I’ll bet there are more “Joe’s” out there.

I’m not going to watch Fox any more either for awhile. I don’t know what’s happened to Fox lately but I have been shocked at the panel’s comments after the debates. It’s like I have been watching a different debate than they have. And those Luntz focus groups??? What’s with them?

From another FoxNewsJunkie.

I don’t think he smoked her unless by that you mean he was not cowed by her. He was polite, respectfull, but not kowtowed by the media attention he is getting. His answer about having jobs was great. But you’re right - this needs to be made into a commercial. This guy is smart and savy. And telegenic. This is not only Joe the Plumber but he is also Joe Six-Pack.

Wish I had the knowledge of how to edit a photo.

I would take Sarah Palin’s Riverter Rosie’s picture and insert a plumber’s plunger in her uplifted hand and write the caption underneath:

FLUSH OUT WASHINGTON NOW!

He wasn’t available for interviews yesterday, BECAUSE HE HAD TO WORK

"Don't listen to what other people say. Go out there and get the facts yourself."

You have to love this guy.

Would that we had MORE like Mr. Wurzelbacher that spoke so plainly, to the point and HONEST! Like Sarah, a stand up person, knowing what he believes, comfortable with himself and best of all WHAT HE DOES.

I really liked his statement about “what if (Barak) decides that the line ought to be drawn at $150,000.00 instead of $250,000.00, that’s a slippery slope”, and using the label SOCIALIST, good on you Joe, you betcha!! Excellent.

Boy, she certainly was amused by the whole interview, wasn’t she?

He is every man, and I think that whole exchange between Senator Government and Joe the Plumber just might be the camel that breaks Obama’s straw back.

Just words. Just speeches. Heh.

I have met people like this. They insult the mecanic, the plumber, the cop, the electrician, not on a one-on-one level but as a collective. Yet who do they call when the toilet overflows, the lights don’t work. Or - in the case of 9/11 - firefighters who risk their lives to save people that have comtempt for them. Or soldiers, Marines, sailors, and airmen who man the wall and protect those who snear at them. We need to get the word out!

Red in Blue PA posts - “Anyone in Joes area needs to hire him...”

Very good point. And I’ll bet when the lovely Diane asked him about his schedule today, she inadvertently booked him for the rest of the year :)
