It’s a Norman Rockwell painting, but the name escapes me at the moment.

The one pictured is titled, “Freedom of Speech” and is a part of the “Four Freedoms” series by Rockwell.

Thanks for posting this. I watched the video of Joe’s and Obama’s conversation at the link. There was more to it than I’ve seen on TV. What is this “capital gains” tax relief that Obama talked about for small businesses? I’ve never heard of such a thing. Can someone enlighten me?

What a perfect painting to illustrate what Joe the Plumber has done. I’ve had the privilege of seeing the original painting and the rest of The Four Freedoms at the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA. Each painting occupies a separate wall in a small gallery within the museum. To stand there at the center of the four paintings and see the original brush strokes is nearly overwhelming.
