Beck was animated tonight. He predicts some sort of blow-up/revolution by next year. Rationed healthcare for those over 50. Obama's Brownshirts. Three trillion dollars down the toilet in ObamaAid. The Left confiscating private firearms. Illegal aliens getting "stimulus" money and amnesty. The Obama war on religion. The second and third ranking Justice Department nominees child pornographers and anti-military hatemongers. Interesting.
Look, I sympathize with the frustration many are feeling here about the direction our country is headed in, but talk of open revolt or even civil disobedience is crazy. If any groups ever attempted it, they would instantly be labeled terrorists by both the government and the media, and most Americans would then see us as the enemy. Obama would have the excuse and support he needed to openly target anyone on the right and wipe anyone opposing him out. Conservatism would be dead as would our country. Think about it.

Lol...the war in Afghanistan is going on it’s eight year battling the Taliban who in no way compare in size, firepower, or technology to the coalition forces. I’d give the rebels at least 15-20 years based on this alone and coming out with the victory.

That theory hasn’t worked against the illiterate Muslims armed only with AK-47 and RPGs in the sandbox. We’ve been there 5+ years and still can’t get them settled down. What makes you think better armed, equipped, educated, trained, and military experienced Americans would fair so much worse?? Not to mention we outnumber any forces by far, far greater numbers than those over there. Sorry, ain’t buying the “lay down your arms, ya ain’t got a prayer” argument.

I don’t know about Beck. I’ve only heard him once or twice, so I’m not claiminig ANYTHING for or about him.
But, humanly, because of the sin nature that affects even (by human estimation) good and upright men, all real visionaries, prophets and seers have temporary moments of insanity. Many are eccentric and very hard to deal with.
Here in Florida, If you use a gun to protect yourself or stop a violent crime, they take your gun. I know I have seen it happen...Oh yea.. you don’t get them back.
The military does not support the O. It’s especially apparent on us vets who have close contact with active duty. Kiddo is not a member.
Hear, hear. The way to get the Marxists thrown out is to make them abject failures. There WILL be an election in two years, no matter how much Chicken-little crying we hear here. People will throw the Dems out if they have no jobs, as long as we are smart enough to make sure that they know that the Dems are at fault.
The Internet has perfect memory. Why do you think the Dems hate sites like FR so much? Our job over the next two years is twofold:
1. Clearly and concisely lay out EVERY Dem economic failing. We all know where today’s “stimulus” will lead — economic disaster. We just need to connect the dots for the “average” sheep.
2. Do everything in our power to ensure that the Dems do indeed fail. If we lose focus and give them the economy we gave the Clintons, then we richly deserve whatever happens to us. Anyone too squeamish to face four years of Carter, this means you. The Dems know that their base is not their tax base; they are the moochers, the leeches, and the need US to fund it. We can deny them that. It’s time to limit our spending to bare necessities, and do everything we can to find less expensive ways to survive. A dollar spent is a dollar that Zero can tax.
This is war, but not the kind that some people think it is (and if you disagree, then fine, let’s see if YOU can organize several million armed Americans before you get rounded up.) That’s just crazy talk, and counterproductive.

Thankfully, you weren’t born during the time of the American Revolution, you would be utterly useless to the cause. People said the same things you are saying about the patriots during that time period and I for one am glad they didn’t listen to it and went ahead and risked everything for their principles and our freedom. Those same freedoms we used to enjoy we are losing now with collectivists firmly in control of government and the media.

No extremism in the RINO party...how do you feel about ACORN steeling elections? Is that extreme on the dims part or is that just part of “the big game”? It’s cool, we’ll just play too and live in gated communities next to the counrty club.

People like Adams and Jefferson amongst others were very reluctant for revolution for a long time. It took many repeated ‘Injuries’ of many kinds to get them to move forward. They too often spoke of the unbeatable power of England as a sobering reason to do nothing.
Americans now are suffering repeated ‘Injuries’ by our govt like never before in history.
Though it doesn't look like we will do anything, rebellion is in our blood and heritage, and we've sat at the dinner table too many nights angered by what our govt is doing to us!
May I suggest watching the DVD John Adams Miniseries, and reading the book. The only account I know of the first 50 years of our history in proper context for a true understanding of our countries birth. Many people then were no more motivated to do anything about King George than we are now with our govt.
What I see as appropriate for now in the 21st century is a Nationwide Tax revolt. Perhaps an organization like Human Events, or the Heritage Foundation would start a National Tax Revolt movement, maybe build it up like the NRA, as tax ‘Injuries’ are Federal and Statewide. There are multiple tax revolts occurring in California right now. Search the KFI 640 John & Ken page for a look at the ‘Head On A stick Campaign’.
***There will be no revolution. Americans simply do not have the stomach for it anymore, and the federal government is simply too powerful to defeat in a military confrontation.
