This may be a topic for our regional FReeper conventions coming up, but how many of you would be interested in forming an official conservative FReeper PAC for raising funds to help replace Dems and RINOs and to get conservatives elected?

I’m with you on this. Buy advertising, get back to CPAC sponsorship booths, revive the old Free Republic magazine idea (by and for FReepers).. Let’s Roll.
One of our strengths has always been we aren’t just some other forum where members sit on our thumbs, we get out and become involved. This will just take it to the next level.
Not scheduled yet, but we definitely should have two conventions in California, North and South. Ping your lists.

I have invitations to Romney’s, Thompson’s, McCain’s, Move America Forward, Take Back the Party, ALIPAC, the RNC one...on and on.
Of course I am interested, but unlike the Left’s efforts (foreign donations, ACORN, La Raza and other taxpayer and billionaire-sponsored organzations) we are completely unorganized and fragmented.
The MSM does the Left’s bidding, we have talk radio, Fox News and Lou Dobbs, the rest is all Lefty garbage.
I would love to donate, but I think we need to influence the pro-lifers, the border control advocates and the gun people together, along with the fiscal conservatives to form a group that has consolidated power.
Daily KO’s, Huffington, etc. need to meet FR, Hot Air, etc.
The overriding issue is also funding, Obama just gave his grassroots BILLIONS of TAX DOLLARS, which is a distict disadvantage for us.

we need to get as many conservative PACs as possible. What we really need is a conservative Super Group Coalition that will bring all of the thousands of little groups together.
I agree with your recommendation. We have to get off our dead derrieres and pick, support, and run candidates which support our positions. In our culture, money talks.
