This report suggests that noise can actually kill you. Unbelievable!!!

Noise on the forum (like this spam) sucks, too.
It can certainly cause stress which can kill you. When I worked in a noisy factory I got really irritated if I couldn’t have a few hours of near silence at home.
It’s been known for a long time that exposure to excessive noise causes stress, and that stress can hasten all manner of illnesses.
And of course, prolonged exposure to high noise levels can cause permanent hearing damage.
“High” in this regard being for example 90 dB(A)or more for 8 hours or more.
It’s not at all unbelievable; it often seems to me that all the noise coming out of Washington is a slow, painful death.

After spending many years around jet engines, I cannot stand loud noise’s. They make me angry and stress me out.
Sometimes I avoid parties because of the “noise”. “Noise hurts” sometimes...

I suppose the other five are completely oblivious.
Or maybe deaf already.
3 years of working the flight deck of aircraft carriers, and i cannot hear any noise anymore....
