Question: Why Are We Not Impeaching Obama Now?

I am just wondering, can anyone tell me why are we not impeaching Obama now, before he does anymore damage?

I am no expert but what is needed to impeach a president. Can anyone here explain what is needed?

I haven't heard of anyone doing it but I would definitely support this. I was hoping some of the GOP Congresspeople that voted AGAINST the bailouts, and the bonus fiasco could start an investigation, but I will admit I'm not familiar with the procedures that need to be followed...

Plus, I'm not sure that the Congressmen are GOING to say anything about these laws. We may have to let some of them go through and let them get taken to court over them... If anything would call for a special prosecutor surely the outright lie that Obama told when compared to Dodd's statement should cause a HUGE red flag to go up on SOMEONE'S desk!!! SO FRUSTRATING... I fear that those in Congress are either overburdened and "new" or clueless, or they really believe they can get away with this stuff.

"Magazines" are what some people erroneously (generally media types) call "clips" for magazine-fed weapons.
It's a term similar to "keep your powder dry" only updated to modern weaponry.

The last, desperate defense involves stacking all of your remaining full magazines for easy access while you wait for the enemy to come.

Yes I think we should impeach all of them. It is like a coupe has taken place and they have allowed it.

One of the best opportunities for taking all these crooks down is to get to the bottom of the birth certificate issue.

You need:

1. A majority of the House.
2. Two thirds of the Senate.
3. A reason.

#1 is possible by 2011 with a lot of luck. #2 is impossible even if we run the table in 2010 — there just are not enough Senate seats up. #3 should be easy, once #1 and #2 are achieved.

You can’t impeach members of the House or Senate, since these bodies handle member misconduct.

Why is this dude smiling? Because he's Alcee Hastings, D-FL23. Before he was D-FL23, he was a crooked federal judge who was impeached by a majority vote (413-3, 1988, Democrat controlled) of the body in which he now sits and removed from office by a two-thirds plus five vote in the Senate.
