The hypertext for "Kenya" links to www.statemaster,com/state/KE which is blank.

In view source there is this that is not visible on the page: "The Dominion of Kenya between 1963 and 1964." This "Dominion of Kenya" is also hyperlinked to 1. above.

You're making an assumption about hospital births vs home births in Kenya at that time. It's been reported on this thread that the country had some very good hospitals in that day.
Besides, Coast General Hospital is clearly listed as Obama's birthplace on the certificate in question. As I and other have indicated, the document we're looking at clearly points to root records contained in another official registry, so it in itself is not the definitive record.
That's why I referred loosely to it in my other post as a "COLB" of sorts. It serves the same purpose as the Hawaiian COLB, but contains more information.

Another mystery that no amount of speculation will solve. Only professional document examiners and Kenyan government officials, or scholars who know Kenyan history well, are going to be able to settle this one.

I wondered the same thing. None of us can know for sure. We can only have an opinion at this point and I honestly don’t know. I called BS on it early one, when the thread began. Now I’m not so sure. I want to know where she got it. Not knowing that, I’m still skeptical.
