Interesting that the only signature on it is from a deputy registrar.
The document is also called a “Certified Copy of Registration of Birth”. It’s still not a birth certificate.
Notice that there is a reference below to “the Birth Register”, with this entry being recorded in “Book 44B, Page 5733.”
This appears to be a Kenyan version of a COLB. No doctor listed, or attending nurses or physicians, no birth particulars, etc. Very similar to the Hawaiian COLB.
Overall, is as good or better than the jpeg image of the Hawaiian COLB, and the FactCheck photos of the “same”.
I think the revelation of this Kenyan COLB is going to stoke the fire on the bc issue in the coming week.
Why was it signed by the official in 1964?

I do apologize for the lengthy delay. However, Obama has kept us waiting longer. He’s kept us waiting for several months now. There is no logical reason for the President not to release his original birth certificate.

OK, you can zoom in on the BC copy. Looks plenty authentic to me. What we have here is a copy of the birth certificate issued in 1964. The original was made in August 9, 1961. So somebody requested the BC in ‘64.
It says:
“formerly DUNHAM
18 Years
Wichita, Kansas, UNITED STATES”

I would guess that this document was produced from the original records in that year because someone (perhaps Obama Sr.) needed proof of Barry's birth for some reason.
This doc is more or less a COLB, not a birth certificate. It could have been requested and produced by the registrar's office at any time.
What is the “Given under My Hand and Seal of Office this 17th day of February, 1964”? Is that when this document was created from the original record?
