There are so many on-line schools available that allow a concerned parent to put the “bullsh**” label on the marxist crap when it occurs in the curiculum. With flu, gangstas, burned-out dope smoking “teachers”, etc., on-line schools are a great choice if one can get free to do it. Some groups form with a “house parent” who can proctor several students.

SO true! I think the two biggest battles conservatives need to fight (after we defeat health care “reform”) are term limits and school vouchers. It’s hard to fight Socalists when they are cranking out new members by the thousands every graduation season. I have been in the trenches on this and it is absolutley the most critical issue facing this country.

Beware: it is a common ploy for people to make up quotes. Some fake quotes are better known that the real ones.

Most of these do not really sound like Hitler. Even the quotation about the efficacy of lying is taken out of context, because Hitler never recommended that his own propaganda contain lies. Instead, he attributed the “big lie” technique to his enemies, and specifically to the Jews.

Why do we have to refer to Hitler, anyway, when Obama makes enough misrepresentations, false promises, gaffes, &c., on his own? Make 0 face up to his own failings, for after all, he is our problem — and a big one.

I don't know about over the top, but it may be inaccurate. I'd equate Obama with Lenin or Stalin myself, instead of Hitler.

The definition of fascism is: "A governmental system with strong centralized power, permitting no opposition or criticism, controlling all affairs of the nation (industrial, commercial, etc.)" (American College Dictionary, New York: Random House, 1957). While socialism is defined as: "a theory or system of social organization which advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means or production, capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole" (American College Dictionary).

Communist and fascist states certainly have a lot in common, probably more in common than are different, in their implementation. However, the biggest difference, IMO, is how they treat the ownership of property. Individuals under Hitler were allowed to own property, but were considered responsible for using it for the common good. And it could be taken away.

As for the similarities in the implementation of the ideologies, here are some quotes from various Nazis and other fascists: (many of these will overlap with the ones on this thread)
