MarkLevinFan.com ^ | September 16, 2009 | Mark Levin

Posted on 09/16/2009 6:08:48 PM PDT by Sergeant Tim

Mark Levin was asked in an email today by Politico.com who has more influence, Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh. Mark's answer was clear (hear the brief audio at the jump).

The only thing missing when Mark said it was this music playing in the background...

I think Mark is bigger than this. There is plenty of room for Rush and Glenn. I also don't get the childishness. Politico probably picked up on it and is going to publicize the back biting.

If it wasn't for Barry Farber and Rush there would be no Hannity, Boortz, Levin and Beck on the national scene. There is no comparison.

Totally agree. I love Mark Levin’s rants like no other.

But jealousy is never attractive.

So Levin is afraid Beck is cutting into HIS book sales? Do I sense a little paranoia here?

Very well could be. Who has the higher ratings? Beck or Levin?

Didn't Beck break the story of the corruption at Acorn? That has to be one of the biggest stories of 2009.

I listen to most of Glenn, some of Rush and some of Levin. It has more to do with the time of day. Turn all of them off when I get so angry at the news regarding what the Left is doing that I my head wants to explode.

I just don’t have the patience to watch Glenn’s whole TV show.

Levin has had a bromance with Limbaugh for years. This summer I’ve really noticed the jealousy coming from the Hannity and Levin camps re:Beck. I enjoy all, but would say Beck is the one who has gone balls out on the attack against dems/rinos and put his ass on the line.

All the number 3’s loathe each other and by that I mean Beck, Levin, and Savage.

#1 and #2 like just about everyone and Savage hates just about everyone

My rating of the talk hosts:

1. Rush - I schedule my day around his show

2. Mark Levin - I don't miss him

3. Beck - I try not to miss him, but he can be a little wacky for my taste.

4. Hannity - I don't work hard to be near a radio, He calls too many people his good friend, including the likes of Carville and other really nasty liberals.

He doesn't listen to what his callers are saying, and it makes him look like a superficial clod. My pet peeve of the past two+ weeks: He keeps calling John Holdren "Eric Holdren" on his radio show as well as his TV show, which really makes him look like a superficial clod.

I like Rush a whole lot.
I like Mark a whole lot.
I like Glenn a whole lot.
There are many others.

Each has been extremely helpful in promoting the cause of freedom, which I appreciate in the present climate. Yet, ego and allegiance aside, I'd prefer less personal posturing. The movement is so much larger than any individual.

Beck is doing good work at the moment, but he needs to prove that he is for real... for the long term

Beck's been at it (for the long term) just not on a national level. I've been listening to Beck since 2000, and he's been the same. I'm always impressed at his overall grasp of a situation or scenario, he does his homework. He was ahead of the financial downturn, ahead of Obama's antics, etc. And even in his early days, he accomplished things by getting folks to rally behind a cause. He used to call for improptu rallies in Tampa, and people would drive to the radio station to demonstrate on the side of the highway for a particular cause. He's no flash in the pan, he's been doing the same thing for years.

I disagree. I've never heard an angry, backbiting word out of Glenn regarding any other radio host. Levin seems to have the corner on hate. He should save it for the other side.

"actually, Beck has been ripping off stuff from Mark’s book and other comments for quite a while"

Good grief. Like Mark Levine is the ONLY one that can carry the water? Mark's book finds its inspiration from the Founding Fathers who, instead of laying claim to great ideas, freely shared them for the greater good of all mankind -- and Levine now wants to claim those great ideas solely as his? Levine needs to get over himself. I listened to him faithfully from the his radio show's inception; however, I'm tiring of his sniping. I expect two year olds to cry, "It's mine, all mine and nobody elses."

Conservatives should stick together.

Sometimes I wonder if Glenn Beck is too emotional to keep this going, so I wish him the best.

Glenn is under attack by the NAACP in Easton, PA because they don’t want him to speak at the State Theater in Jan.

“Infighting undermines our efforts.”

Would that conservatives could learn that lesson! Often there are several conservatives running against one liberal, thus assuring that the liberal wins.

I also think that Mark respects his good friend Rush Immensely, but may be just a little jealous of this new comer Beck.

I love Rush!

Levin is one of the greatest CONSERVATIVE minds I’ve ever listened to!

Beck is a massive rush of Info that calls a spade a shovel and backs it up with real investigative reporting instead of just slinging accusations!

They are all an absolute necessity in our media!

God bless Sean
God bless Mark

It's hard listening on the radio to Hannity because he repeats himself and doesn't let his guests and callers talk enough.
