Free Republic does not and will not support RINOS!! Not now!! Not ever!!
My day after Thanksgiving message | 11/26/200 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/26/2009 9:55:25 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!

We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

No more socialism!!

Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!

Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!

The strategy is we win, they lose.

Any questions?

Evening, my friend. I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful.

I think wagglebee has a great idea there if his/her goal is to finish off this board for good and all. There are many who would like to see that happen. I am not one of them.

Because you have no clue how to advance a conservative agenda. I have a question for you. Would you vote for Ronald Reagan if he ran today?

I'm still not familiar with the incident you cite. Did it happen on FR?

How about this: Poster named Cedric who gets upset about RINOs being endangered.
How does THIS fit in?
Especially since FR is private property.
A conservative would understand that SIMPLE concept.

How do you advance the conservative agenda by becoming more liberal? Answer: you don’t. That’s why RINOs have to go.

Answer: NO, it didn’t happen on FR, hence his strawman argument of FR being totalitarian for exercising private property rights and deciding who the owner does and does not want on site is enormously false.
Cedric argues the way a certain ‘true conservative’ by the ironic handle of JohnGalt did.
Galt had a small following, even called himself a true conservative.
Yet he too couldn’t understand private property.
He also couldn’t understand what constituted weapons of mass destruction.
He liked to move the goal posts, repeatedly.

Here in California we have a Senate race in 2010

Carly Fiorina, a moderate Republican who I don’t agree with on some isues is running against Far Left Wing Democrat
Barbara Boxer who is the darling of Obama and all the
Left Wing agenda idiots.

One or the other is going to win for the Senate.
Since Fiorina is not acceptable,
Left Wing Democrat Barbara Boxer can be counted on to vote
Conservative every time.

See, isn’t that easy. Just vote for the Liberal Democrats
or if you just can’t vote Democrat, write in a name or sit at home, just as good as voting Democrat and then you don’t get none of that messy Republican stuff.

In case you didn’t notice, McSnipe was all up under obama with most of his agenda. He traversed the country to kiss clinton’s ring.
Global warming? Anmesty? Blaming capitalists and bankers for evil, evil predatory practices? etc. etc.

Do you disagree that totalitarianism is the problem?

You can’t be suggesting that conservatism is the problem!?!

Incrementalisim.

This is why the Nation is liberal and is becoming more with each election we lose.

They know to make baby steps with non pure liberals.

They are working on fifty year plans while we want it next Tuesday at 8am.

Did her brains leak out shortly after birth or along the way?

Who the heck said anything about becoming more liberal? I want the country go to the right--not the left. What made you think I want this country to go more liberal? I am arguing strategy--not the goal.

I want constitutional, moral, small government. I despise liberalism and the current crop of extremist Dimocrats. We have to use whatever method possible to minimize their potential to do more damage.

Anytime an opportunity presents itself to move our country to the right, we grab it. We have to be wise. Until we can replace a RINO with someone more conservative, we keep the RINO. It beats the heck out of a Dimocrat. We stay united in our zeal to destroy liberalism.

Not suggesting that at all. Are you talking about here on FR? Anyone who thinks Jim Robinson is a totalitarian for making his own rules on this site is a loon.

Vote offensively (for the best candidate) in the primary.

Vote defensively (for the candidate to the least damage) in the general.

IF you want to win a war, first you have to win some battles. You don't win battles by sitting out...

I consider yours to be the most Reaganesque post of the last hundred or so in this ongoing argument.

I would only add that as a long-term strategy, the right-conservative base must individually and collectively begin flooding the entry level ranks of the Republican party machinery, so as to eventually replace the RINOs now running it, as well as those who are in elected office.

"Senators and Representatives are paralyzed by their fear of what the voters think."

I disagree to a point. I believe that our Representatives are no longer "paralyzed by their fear". I believe their arrogance and the incumbent system that continues to allow them to sit for decades in our Fedgov has emboldened them and they have NO fear of leaving their cushy and powerful status.

What's the answer?:
1. Term limits: Unfortunately, a Constitutional amendment won't happen because the incumbents simply won't allow it. Although, there is the ability of the Individual States to push for such, but that won't happen either;

2. A better solution...STATE NULLIFICATION: How simple would it be for any 1 or 5 or 7 States to just say no? What would the Fedgov do? Cut off funding for such State? Okay. Then what if the State simply stopped forwarding their tax receipts to DC??? What could DC do?

I say nothing other than lawsuits that would drag on for years and keep the dipwads in DC distracted! That alone would be worthwhile. What a great debate that would cause. I, personally, would give my life, fortune, and sacred honor for such a conflict.

This is not the 1860's. The Fedgov will not use the military to invade any State who says they won't follow un-Constitutional mandates. It just won't happen.

,

STATE NULLIFICATION!!!
Write your Governors and State Representatives that you will no longer tolerate un-Constitutional mandates upon your State! Tell them to adhere to the 9th and 10th Amendments to United States Constitution, which is still the
LAW OF THE LAND!

Reagan was a Great President but far from perfect.

We hold him as the standard of purity.

Care to discuss his Governorship or Presidency?

Id rather have nut bag Paul as pres today than Obama.

or Gulliani or Romney or Huckaby

If a RINO is nominated in 2012, I fear we’ll be told to hold our noses and vote for him anyway.

If there is a RINO candidate in '12 (Huckabee is the most likely IMO), and the mods start banning accounts of those who suggest sitting it out or voting third party, I think a lot of Freepers will save them the keystrokes by banning themselves.
