Free Republic does not and will not support RINOS!! Not now!! Not ever!!
My day after Thanksgiving message | 11/26/200 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/26/2009 9:55:25 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!

We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

No more socialism!!

Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!

Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!

The strategy is we win, they lose.

Any questions?

He would be nearly as bad and destroying the conservative movement rather than getting the country back on track. I wish I didnt vote for him because it involved setting aside important principles. Rather than aquiescing to the lesser of two evils I choose to use my vote to define what I believe in rather than who I don’t. My vote will either elect a conservative or burn the Rino tent to the ground since I refuse to be a pole that props them up to further screw us over.

And because a lot of conservatives took the same approach, we ended up with President Obama who IS burning the nation to the ground. While conservatives argue over some amorphous blob of undefined principles, the marxists and socialists are destroying the nation.

If you really think protecting the "conservative movement" is more important than protecting the nation, then you are seriously misguided...

Yikes! He would have been no better than Obama. The ONLY reason McCain got ANY votes was because of Palin.

You’re too stupid to realize you’re doing everything possible to get yourself banned, including calling the site owner a totalitarian, as well as the laughable assertion that those calling RINOs what they truly are, are really paid Soros hacks.

I’m not the one trying to get people banned.

Calling the sites owner a totalitarian is what would get you banned. You posted it for all to see.

I know my state has been surrenderd. The GOP hasn’t done anything of note here in twenty years. The leadership is non-existant.

People still have core values and concerns. They can still understand the premise of thier money being stolen from them via their paycheck. They can still understand the subject of sound education for their children. They can still understand property rights, jobs, and other issues. Our side doesn’t represent sound values in the state. We don’t win converts.

I don't see the people of CA as a lost cause - we vote conservatively on most propositions. Prop 187 is a good example, plus the one last May to not extend the tax increases.

The problem is the politicians. I'm guessing ACORN and their ilk do not put as much effort into bussing bums to vote for props as they do for voting for candidates.

HE IS every American liberal’s favourite Republican. He has a long history of championing liberal causes such as campaign-finance reform (with Russ Feingold) and immigration reform (with Teddy Kennedy). He recently derailed the attempt by Senate Republican leaders to junk the delaying filibuster technique for judicial appointments; and he is one of Congress’s leading worry-warts on global warming.…

The Associated Press

WASHINGTON - Republican Sen. John McCain, a former prisoner of war in Vietnam, called an ad criticizing John Kerry’s military service “dishonest and dishonorable” and urged the White House on Thursday to condemn it as well.
The White House declined.

EXCERPT FROM HARDBALL, April 14, 2005:
MATTHEWS: But bottom line, would you vote for what’s called the “nuclear option,” to get rid of the filibuster rule on judgeships?
MCCAIN: No, I will not.
MATTHEWS: You will stick with the party?
MCCAIN: No, I will vote against the nuclear option.
MATTHEWS: You will vote—
MCCAIN: Against the nuclear option.
MATTHEWS: Oh, you will?
MCCAIN: Yes.
MATTHEWS: So you will vote with the Democrats?

No known practical value or use.

They are definitely of far more value and use to the Democrats. They aid and abet the leftward drift in this country either through their participation or dereliction.

If a RINO is nominated in 2012, I fear we’ll be told to hold our noses and vote for him anyway. The only real hope is to keep the RINO from being nominated in the first place. I’m still waiting for a really good conservative to emerge onto the national scene. Both Romney and Huckabee turn my stomach and I’m not quite ready to jump on the Sarah bandwagon yet.

there are Soros subversives posing as “stalwart anti-RINOs”, fomenting frustration and disillusionment, to abet Obama’s reelection

The solution is simple: Simply outnumber them. This means winning hearts and minds. The American people are waking up. Let’s not shoot ourselves in the foot (feet).
