Obama sounds like he's ready to shaft Israel, which certainly would be consistent with his whole upbringing and his locked-in Leftist worldview.

How can we say that he's committed treason against his country? This cigarette-puffing, pot-headed Muslim was probably not born in the USA. Reports keep filtering in from Kenyans that he is definitely one of theirs.

He does, however, need to be escorted from the White House along with Michelle, her mother, little Sasha and Malia and deported.

He's a criminal!

We do the work, they do the bitching.

Great line and so very true. I'm sick of hearing how the world hates us.

>>Obama and the Left don’t have the least inkling of the vital peace-keeping role of America as the cop on the world beat for the last six decades. They hardly understand the idea of peace officers on domestic beats. It just doesn’t get through those hard plastic space helmets around their heads.<<

Sorry, our country was not set up to be (and should not be) the world’s police.

Silly comparison. We have a mutual defense treaty with the UK, i.e., NATO. We don't have a mutual defense agreement with Israel.

When was a treaty every binding on the conscience of a Marxist?

Even the Marxist cannot wriggle out of that one. We still live in a democractic republic, not a dictatorship.

If Obama walks away from Afghanistan, Israel and Taiwan, we will see Europe and Asia switching all their alliances very fast...

??? what has europe to do (beside the Nato troops in afghanistan) with this countries? and why should “they” care if the US walks away from them?

The conquest of South Korea could probably feed the hungry people of the North for years and years before the whole peninsula went kaput. And Kim Jong il could finally get his nukes to work.

If they decided they needed them, the SKs could probably have working nukes in less than a month.

The biggest problem with the US pulling out of the rest of the world is that it would encourage massive arming by all parties to defend themselves, since the US won't do it for them. This would be a profoundly unstable situation.

My boss thinks the world would be safe and peaceful if only the US military went away. IMO this is a lot like blaming cops for crime, firemen for fires, or doctors for cancer.

Haven’t looked at the news lately have you? We haven’t been a democratic republic for a long... LONG time.

Pax Americana has arguably ended or is hastily heading to an end.

Obama and the Left don't have the least inkling of the vital peace-keeping role of America as the cop on the world beat for the last six decades.

Obama understands what our role was as cop of the world, he just believes he has a better use for the funds entailed.

Just think of all the cash he can distribute as retribution for slavery and to ACORN and CAIR if America resigned as world cop.

That's how Obama thinks!

As long as we have the Constitution, it will be.

Look at it this way...in a few years, certainly less than fifty, London will be Muslim anyway.

‘Obama and the Left don't have the least inkling of the vital peace-keeping role of America as the cop on the world beat for the last six decades.’

Nonsense. More World Order.

Our Republic was not set up to police the world.

Liberty and freedom works for individuals, as well as Nations.

Nations, need to defend themselves, and not depend on US. Just as the individual, seeks to defend himself, and not turn to Gov’t.

Europe has used the umbrella of our protection to build a socialist mindset, that allows for less defense, health care, shorten work weeks, etc, on the backs of the security we provide If America is to provide welfare, it should do so to it's citizens, and drop the foreign welfare we use in the form of Foreign affairs. Which of course, is nothing more than Affirmative Action to other cultures.

Who in this world would care what happens to the hapless United States of America?

Obummer and his complicit Congress has deliberately bankrupted this nation. Furthermore, any nation that has shipped practically all of its manufacturing out of the country is doomed. And they know that as well. In fact they were counting on it.

These are weasels of the very worst kind. They know what they want and how to do it and are succeeding very nicely. The two party system has worked well for them and they will continue to spread the false rumors that that system is the only way to go.

We've got news for them. A solid, Conservative third party would siphon enough votes from each to get a true conservative elected. The building of the third party would proceed from there.

No 'moderates' (stand for nothing) will be allowed!

It's either that or Civil War II and no party; just a benevolent despot.

In order for that to be true our “leaders” would need to abide by the Constitution, which they haven’t for a long... LONG time.

“Pax Americana” carries all the negative connotations of the failing Roman Empire. America has no empire, and never has. I think this was the writer’s intention.

Why not proclaim that America will build a kingdom that will last 1000 years?

Before we get too eager comparing ourselves to the Empire we might show a little interest in how the Empire ended, and specifically, how peaceful the Pax Romana truly was when it all came crashing down into their laps.

Our Republic was not set up to police the world.

I agree 100%!

If a country, like Saudi Arabia trains terrorists, like the 9/11 rats then that nation's ability to produce oil should be destroyed.

If North Korea doesn't dump the psychopath then they'll be better off if all key installations were destroyed.

Since we didn't have the guts to beat what was left of the crap out of Russia at the end of the war against German, we should destroy Moscow. If Putin and his criminals persist in being the proverbial thorn in our paw then have it out now instead of vacillating until they're able to wipe us out with impunity.

Iran, Venezuela and Cuba: poof!

Then go back to the Monroe Doctrine. Close our borders to any immigration, bring our manufacturing base back, decimate our central government and begin to enjoy life again.
