Okay, so Chertoff is out touting his full body scanners. Which, heh, he is selling.

Thus he must be nice to the current admin for want of the contract, and nice to the prior admin because, duh, he was part of it.

And I love that softball question by Gregory...I paraphrase...

...”Do you think that the fact that the only way Al-Queda can wage an attack is by finding these losers? Isn’t that fact alone an indicator of how sucessful we’ve been avoiding attack?”

Well damn, the WH itself must have phoned that one in.

As for Janet Incompetano....they are out in full force in her defense. I can see the scene now.

“Mr. President if you don’t get folks out defending me over that “system worked” sound byte, so help me God, I’m going to hold a press conference and inform the public that it was Rahm, approved by you, who gave me this sound byte. What’ve I got to lose? I’ll probably get fired anyway. Save my reputation, and let me resign to be with my family.”

They all listen to National Public Radio. It reinforces their sense of ‘cool.’

I do not think any form of arts should be supported by the government. If your work does not support you, then do it because you want to, but don’t expect the gov’t to pay.

NPR uses those soft, confidential voices (like they were calling a golf tournament) and we know that we are better than all the rest.

Believe me, since I am a writer (and the govt’ refuses to pay me a cent) I know a lot of these types.

Seriously, Alas, look at sportswriters. 99% of them never played sports in high school; they were at best sports reporters for their high school paper.

Now they spend all of their time harassing the NFL players and mocking them when they can. And if they are really good at it, like Keith Olbermann, they get allowed into the super-cool political clique!

Oh, and it is a component of why they hated Bush. He was one of those jocks who never paid attention to them in high school. And on top of it, he was a Christian!

Since the numbers are so close between dems and pubbies the big difference, and what could possibly shape the future, will be what is happening with the indys/independents. Any info on that MNJ?

Exactly, this adm. is famous for “creating” numbers and than apologizing when they are changed 6 months later and no one is looking. Typical commie trick.

I see your point, and it’s a good one. I just was steamed at the incompetence, and as someone earlier up thread pointed out, the military has its own issues of PC foolishness and incompetence.

I just cannot get over that this guy was turned in and still didn’t get red flagged. If they missed this type of person, how many more subtle signs are they missing?

My husband is working for a mining company in Africa right now, so I am a little touchy on this subject.

Terry Moran suffers from the same political amnesia as the rest of the Libs.

Because he is OBVIOUSLY forgetting how the Libs trashed President Bush literally from 9/12/01 through his very last day in office.

David Brooks, MTP, just referred to Americans as “teenagers” who are throwing a temper tantrum because we didn’t catch this dude before he set his undies afire.

David Brooks is an idiot.

“Hey E.J...., Rahm,

Lookit, we almost got that contract for your wife, er, for the company in yer wife’s name. Just need one more congress critter on our side.

Anyway, could you maybe go on MTP and mention how the best thing that happened to us is Dick Cheney coming out and opening his mouth...how he made it all look political and gave us an edge?”

“Gee, Rahm, that Cheney quote really hurt you guys. For me to say that would be a big lie. Perhaps if you increased that contract by $100K and another year?”

“No prob...”

If I saw correctly, Brennan came to us via the CIA. My first thought was wondering who had leaked damaging information the past ten years from CIA and State?

Yes. Hayden pointed out that the profiling is not ethnic, but rather behavioral. Gregory is a dunce.

Just seeing Brennan on MTP,....

He is so scripted it is embarrassing.

I guess the white house hasn’t learned the lesson that “WE the people” are smarter than that.

Amateurs, liars, and cads, all of them.

Thanks for starting the thread, Bahbah.

He’s just furthering what Joan Walsh of Newsweek was mumbling on Hardball the other night.

Look for it to be one of the new Lib talking points across the entire MSM once Rahm has his first conference call of the year tomorrow.

how will all these new govt. jobs be funded after 2012?

^
Suppose Democrats and their State run media will blame the govt. job cuts on the new Republican Admin, if we can keep ACORN out of the ballet box
