I believe thae sign at one of the tea party events read something like “shove it down our throats and next election we’ll shove it up your a$$.” I really do believe this will happen.

Dems look at bypassing Senate health care vote

Can't they just 'blink' socialism into law?

It’s not clear the House will pass anything after Coakely takes a shellacking in Mass. (if that happens). Nothing could send a clearer message to the political class than a Republican winning in Mass running on the issue of rejecting health care and winning.

Rather then worrying getting the Marxist cacucus in the House on board then Dems better be worrying about those 50+ Democrats sitting in seats representing Congressional Districts that voted for Bush 2xs and McCain last time.

Ram this thur and their political life expectancy is less then a fruit flys.

The problem may lie in getting the house to accept the Senate version as their version in total especially if Brown wins in a blowout.

Dems look at bypassing Senate health care vote
Associated Press ^ | Jan. 17, 2010 | CHARLES BABINGTON

Posted on Sunday, January 17, 2010 3:05:45 PM by Free ThinkerNY

BOSTON (AP) - A panicky White House and Democratic allies scrambled Sunday for a plan to salvage their hard-fought health care package in case a Republican wins Tuesday's Senate race in Massachusetts, which would enable the GOP to block further Senate action.

The likeliest scenario would require House Democrats to accept a bill the Senate passed last month, despite their objections to several parts.

That strategy is sort of like Obama sinking a dagger into the heart of the Democratic Party.

The Dems would be absolutely insane to force a Senate vote with a 59 seat 2/3 majority, but they could.

And they are insane enough to do it. They might get their bill passed, but they would not have any constituency to speak of left to them. The writing is on the wall for the Helath Care Bill:

"OBAMA: PROCEED AT YOUR PERIL"

And thats the people speaking, not the so called Obamafied "special interests"

The Dems ignore that and Obama will NOT last until 2012. Count on it. We have all we need to get rid of him in the so called "birther files."

If Brown wins, good luck in herding all those demo-cats. With every single seat up in 2010, I cannot imagine that they are that stupid. How much is left in “slushulus”? Enough to bribe 30 votes or so that may go astray? And even if zippy can scrape enough bribe dollars together, are the house dems dumb enough to think that will save them in 2010?

Agenda or no, one thing I know about human nature is that people will always make the choice that offers them the most reward. I cannot imagine a scenario where passing the senate version of obamacare offers house democrats any reward whatsoever...other than obamalove which is worth less and less every day.

I honestly think it is dead if Brown wins. It will send a clear and jolting message to those who serve in seats that were held by Republican’s. I think it will die in the house.

Aides worked frantically Sunday

These people just don't get it. After watching the strengthening Tea Party movement followed up by the Massachusetts revolution the response is to speed up their corruption based backroom scheming?

They are truly dumber than a box of rocks.

This idea of he House just passing the Senate bill could run afoul of the origination clause in Article I, Section 7 of the Constitution, which states, “All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives, but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.” Right now the Senate bill is a giant revenue bill that may well be unconstitutional because it originated in the Senate.
