CNN Crowley is so concerned that Washington is broken because Republicans will not agree with Dems, was she this concerned when Dems did not agree with Republicans when Bush was in office? Puts up a poll where Americans say it is broken, yeah they say that because Washington is not listening to the people, NOT because they will not pass Obamacare.

Elizabeth MacDonald on “Forbes On Fox” did the same thing yesterday. I think its a FNS thing.
The Dallas Morning News devoted a full page to ‘climate gate’ this morning. I haven’t read it because I am still not well and don’t want to get sicker.
I know their take will be that just because a little corruption, a few lies, some incriminating e-mails have been uncovered ... all tht does not take away from the fact that we are causing climate change by not being green.
If anyone else tells me to go green, I may turn green like the Incredible Hulk and go all Bearded Guy on them.
Hallelujah! These frauds, all of them, in government and out, should be tarred and feathered and then imprisoned.
And that includes Lamar Alexander who 1) is very anxious to work with the adminstration to “solve” climate change (talk about arrogance), and who 2) repeatedly tried to tell Ozero that he could get what he wanted in health care but he would have to do it in little sippy cup steps and then the Pubbies would help him. He is perfectly willing to take us where the Statists want to go. He just want to be more clever about it.
Powell turned into a real butt head.

The priest has been misinformed. There has never been any instruction from the Vatican which mandated the elimination of the use of choir lofts for the organ and the choir. That was mistakenly inferred by zealous "reformers".
As for the rule of not eating meat on Fridays, the sin was not in the actual consumption of meat, but in the deliberate defiance of the Church.
If I am cited for blowing through a stop sign the day before they remove the stop sign, I am still obliged to pay the fine.
The states, like VA and TX, are going at the constitutionality of EPA mandates on this. PEC is aiming for the very heart of this fiasco. Neither Zer0 nor the EPA can simply dismiss this with a flippant “...the science is setteled” pronouncement.....

I can see PEC calling Mann, Gore, Hansen and possibly even Jones(UK subject) to testify.
What Howie was saying is that they have fallen down on their job of brainwashing the public.
This explains the local morning radio show today, in which the ABC reporter was interviewed by a local host and went into great detail about how these “independent” economists ABC goes to when they need an “impartial” opinion ALL agree that the stimulus worked.
They weren’t taking calls, so I couldn’t unload like I wanted to. ABC has a group of economists that AGREE with them. It’s not like they ever consult with Friedman types.
It was an obvious attempt to convince us rubes out here in flyover country that we shouldn’t pay attention to all of our neighbors who are out of work; the recession is over because they say so.
Pffft.
Colin Powell insists that we must compromise. But we should never agree to compromise when that means giving up our liberty.
He also does the usual politician thing saying people say they want less spending and smaller government, but they aren’t really willing to give up anything. How about the EPA, Colin? I would give that up. Then on to HUD. There are many more things on my list that I would gladly give up.
Powell also goes on to prove that we’re are not less safe under Ozero because he’s following all of the Bush policies. LOL.
