Barack Obama is still struggling to kick smoking, according to his first medical examination since becoming president.
Obama is sensitive about his cigarette habit and tetchy with reporters who raise it. But after his 90-minute medical at the Navy hospital outside Washington yesterday morning, his doctors confirmed he had not yet managed to conquer the habit and suggested he "continue smoking cessation efforts".
The doctors also recommended "moderation of alcohol intake".

Isn't it child abuse to expose an asthmatic child to second-hand smoke? Just askin.....
He is the Best. Drunk. Ever. :)
Re: Partytime at the WH every night. Seems like President George W. Bush had no problems going to all those parties and sticking to club soda. Why does Oboozo think he HAS to drink alcohol at every one? Shouldn’t the POTUS have his wits about him at all time? What happens when the 3 a.m. call comes in and he’s still smashed? “Oh, man, call Joe, I can’t even unnerstan wha yer shayin’.”
I am just a sinner saved by grace, and I have my struggles with sin, but this is really ridiculous.
How is it that the guy whose entire life history is a mystery, is all of a sudden releasing his medical information? Especially when he could legitimately hide behind ERISA laws. I smell a big, fat liberal, marxist rat!
They are tryingto take attention to smething else they are doing.
Or someone close to him is out to get him
mark my word, he will die in 2012. He wont be as useful to his leftist handlers and more useful dead to manipulate the election.
It means he drinks too much.
Just what we need in the White House.
Till 0bama got elected.
I've taken a shot of tequila everytime he's said "I" and haven't drawn a sober breath in over a year!
If that were true, you would have died of alcohol poisoning during his inaugural address.
Good thing I didn't start until about two weeks into his stint.
I wonder where he sneaks his at? The Whitehouse is a public building does he have to go outside and stand by the back door to smoke or is breaking other laws while smoking in his office?
Also, Zero’s grandfather took him as a young child to bars in Hawaii and the young Obama watched grandpa getting drunk.
Interesting. That would explain a lot.
If you couldn’t get any traction as leader, your popularity dips, your name becomes a curse and your ideas are soundly rejected I think it would drive just about anyone to alcohol and drugs.
Brian Williams, tonight, offered a teaser to the effect of: "What was the most talked about part of Pres. 0bama's medical report." The answer was the smoking (which we already knew). No mention of the drinking. I see a trend.
Dear Leader doesn’t break laws, he just does as he pleases.
Remember, laws don’t apply to him and the rest of the Democratic cabal.
Several thoughts do pop into my head. I can't help thinking of the tabloids reporting that he had lung cancer a few months back. Then I kind of think of that old show XFiles where one of the agents was injected with some type of cancer. I never actually watched the show but I remember that story line.
For some reason this was leaked whereas very little negative about the guy is.
Then again, I thought, it could just be that this kind of stuff actually makes him more appealing to the degenerates out there.
Of course as far as I know, the only way alcohol (or cigarette) intake is measured is by what the patient tells the doctor. It’s not like they take a blood test. So he likely told the doctor a couple or few drinks a week/a pack a week. Is it true? Only O Knows.
If someone can answer the following question I’d appreciate it. Do cigarettes have more addictive qualities now than they did twenty years ago/is it even harder to quit nowadays? I’m just asking for the facts, I cannot seem to get a straight verifiable answer. Thanks!
