I miss Ambrose.

Ambrose, if you lurk, please stop by to say hello once in a while.

Now that you remind me, I think I knew that—and God bless you!

What is really amazing is that SAS is now 10 years old, and going strong! Some will recall that SAS (Second Amendment Sisters) was born right here on FR.

Oh my, Twit. He was a good friend. He lived not far from me and took me out for lunch several times while my mother was dying. Tim Wheeler, he used to work for the Weekly Standard.

He hooked up with an old love, married her and moved from WI to NY. He died only a few years after he was married.

Awesome guy.

Yeah, snowbunny, that was it!

Another one I miss who got the big boot of Jim Thompson is Sabretooth. His posts were always thoughtful and civil, and he was quite polite to me when I was a n00b. As I remember it, the problem started when he started turning every single thread into something about illegal immigration? He was told a buncha times to knock it off, but just couldn’t seem to help himself. I get the feeling he’d seem a little less out of place with his posts these days.

Socks the Cat's tag line was "under the bed at the white house" I think

Those two, Socks C. and Phil V. were quite the tag team!

Hay Phil, you still around?

Socks had two accounts, I think the other was Phil C, something like that. Another good one.

I still have the T shirt my husband bought here on FR during the House impeachment hearings—the one with the picture of Washington on it and (I think) the Declaration of Independence. I will ALWAYS keep it!

Oh the WHITEWATER FILE..!! Who could forget THAT...!

It started out as this little matter, but in so many ways it started getting linked to this hydra-headed scandal beast, and as the Clinton administration wore on it seemed like ANYTHING could somehow go into that file...!

There were like 10,000 threads in there..! hahahahahah..!

Mojo didn't seem to like FR too much...

Other handles, Hon, Sam Hill here at FR

At anti-freeper sites one name he used was dung beetle I believe
