A Florida pastor's plans to burn Korans to mark the anniversary of 9/11 this week could endanger the lives of U.S. troops, warns U.S. ArmyGen. David H. Petraeus, commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan.
Gen. Petraeus said he is "very concerned" about possible repercussions of the pastor's actions.

Petraeus spends too much time sucking up. The ROE’s need to be changed to accommodate a lot more of the Afghans who need to meet Allah up close.
Petraeus is just telling the truth. It may feel good to poke Muslims in the eye by burning their “sacred” documents, but I don’t see how doing so does us any good.
And if such an act harms our soldiers, it should not be done.
Petraeus is an honorable and honest man who is looking out for the troops.
Perhaps if more of US knew what was allowed in their “holy” book we would be more pissed off over the way islam is being accepted here.

These nutballs should burn it at the site of the proposed Ground Zero mosque to give lefties the maximum cognitive dissonance. Both are legal but wrong, which lefties will never admit. It would be great fun asking them how burning a Koran at the proposed Ground Zero mosque site is wrong but the mosque isn’t.
So, really, Petraeus is speaking politically. The expansion of his response shows that he's making an all-encompassing statement about the Islamic Cultocracy.
