Boy, I hope and pray this is the real deal and that they are waking up and seeing things for what they are.

There’s a part of me that wonders if this isn’t a setup for a new big stimulus or takeover.

I have become so skeptical and gun-shy since Obama was elected, it’s not even funny!

4 years ago, you couldnt find a white person as cashier at my Target here in L.A. Now it’s mostly white people and the latinos were relegated to stocking. One of them I spoke with just said it’s horrible out there, no jobs for USC grads with majors in business management.

Over 22% of the unemployed are college grads.
And yet you see them cheer zero at his college forums. Hows that hope and change, was great when mom and dad were supporting your a##es. Elections have consequences. lesson well learned, or maybe not.

It’s the Clintons at work.

Could be, but she is not the vision of beauty and this whole selling us atractive ( relatively ) women, (Ferraro, Schorder) isn't working for her right now.

Do you think the electorate will want this retread ( Hillary )?

By 2012 we will probably be even sick of the new faces we sent now.

Enter from Stage Right Evan Bayh.....

Yes. They’re going to seize 401(k)s. I am just wondering if the more outlandish conspiracies I was considering about Hillary’s trip to the ChiCom’s prior to the election of 2008 about pledging US territory were actually spot on.

Between the federal land, mineral rights, water and Fannie/Freddie or other mortgages, should the globalists call the US debt, we’re on our own. I keep remembering the gleam 0bama had in his eye when he was getting ready to have that pic taken @ the G-20. It was like he was in on something, like ‘I did it.’ I had this chilling feeling he had sold us downriver from the sneer on his face.

The man’s a traitor and should be tarred and feathered.

I remember some comments from folks in Seattle. When Boeing moved the headquarters to Chicago they were cheering because now there would be less traffic.

Over 22% of the unemployed are college grads. Reporting on the part timer’s...people living on couches who worked in Silicon Valley...living in cars

I wonder how many of them voted for Obama and the Democrats?

It’s awful for people unemployed and trapped there in this economy, but it’s a truism that has long been demonstrated in the workforce.

I hope you don't have a son or daughter in that situation. Maybe you should give yourself a pink slip. If I applied and you said that to me I would sue your ass to kingdom come, plus egg your house. Thanks for posting this on Free Republic, makes us look real good.

As a 50+ who may be weeks away from being laid off myself, it was frightening.

Don't worry, there's a bunch of FReepers here who will tell you to get off your ass and get another job, move out of state, stop yer whining, yada, yada, yada........Been there myself brother.

My company here in S.E. Michigan closed down 12/06, I was 56 at the time, looked for ANY job throughout 2007 without any luck. Fortunately I was eligible for a pension which I started 12/07...........

I have a friend who lost his job at the G.M. Tech Center in Warren, MI a few years ago. He took a temporary contract job with a company in North Carolina for a few months. In the meantime, he had to sell his house in Shelby Twp. and move back into the Warren area so he could continue to make his mortgage payment. He took a huge loss on that house.

The contract job ended, they offered him full time employment which meant that he would have had to sell his house here, find a house there and move down there. Fortunately for him, he turned it down. That company closed up 8 months later.

He's now working a contract job in Germany...which he absolutely hates. Fortunately, he has SKYPE loaded on his computer so he can talk each evening with his wife here......

Did I mention that my friend Wayne is 63 years old? I wish you all the best my friend, I really do. If you do lose your job, which I sincerely hope doesn't happen, you gotta rely on your family for psychological support. I never had that opportunity so losing my job was extremely difficult for me to cope with........but ultimately I did.

If you need to talk with someone other than your family, please feel free to freepmail me............
