Obama on TV now - no backing down on his agenda
Fox News Channel

Posted on 11/03/2010 10:21:10 AM PDT by pabianice

Expects Republicans to work with him... boiler plate, boiler plate... blah, blah, blah... eager for proposes from both sides ... wants to engage in serious conversations... Americans don't want the next two years to rival the past two... all must work harder... a month ago we have town hall in VA from small business owners... he asked is there hope for returning to civility (queue Twilight Zone music) ... I hope so... for our nation that has been made more perfect through painful progress... for the country... we all must remember we are Americans... now questions...

No agenda remains shy of executive orders......he’s done.

Take the damn travel budget away from him now.

Q: Will you compromise now on areas you weren’t willing to before? A: (gibberish...)... are we doing everything we can do to develop electric cars? Gas energy? Nuclear power, maybe, if the Libs don’t knee-cap me?... Better fuel efficiency standards?... (i.e. zero areas)

no backing down on obama's agenda?

wtf. his agenda was shoved down our throats prior to the middterms. he's accomplished enough to ruin the country once and for all if his "agenda" isn't overthrown.

All this media crap about "the president's agenda is severely impaired" is bullsh()t. The damage has been done.

You can say whatever you want, Zero. Your agenda is DEAD. Dead, son! Do ya hear me? As dead as a Chicago democrat voter. As dead as Joy Behar's grey matter. As dead as Tonya Harding's skating career. As dead as Ed Schultz's dream of breaking 100 viewership. As dead as Nancy Pelosi chances of remaining Speaker of the House.

Dead I tell you! Dead!!

Amazing...in that one paragraph he talks about a deficit commission and then a slew of more spending on planes, trains, automobiles...

Why doesn’t someone ask him what a green job IS?

Why would he compromise? He has won. Obamacare is the law of the land. We are on a glidepath to SOCIALISM. And he has the veto pen.

He’s a kamikaze.

That's how I see it. If he can build a socialist utopia here, that might be "nice", but his primary goal is just to destroy our system. Financial meltdown, race relations meltdown, trust of business nonexistent, trust of government nonexistent. He's a narcissist, sure -- but I think he's willing to be a martyr as well, if he can do enough damage before his time is up.

I had a feeling the “Annointed One” would not have the ability to step away from his march toward Marxism but we conservatives may have a problem:

If our newly elected Repubs and Tea Partiers try to push forward with a small Government agenda, and use whatever media they can get to focus on the Dems intransigence, then we can take over everything come 2012. Maybe even a filibuster proof House and Senate if things go bad because of Dem roadblocks.

If they try to go along to get along the supposed conservatives will get their butts handed to them in 2012 and the Dems will be able to finish off the last free country on Earth.

“He’s an ideologue, not a pragmatist like Clinton was.

He, can’’t learn, won’t learn as Clinton did in 1994, he’s done for... a one term’er”

Obama can’t and won’t move to the center. His progressive base blamed Clinton going to the center for 2000 presidential losses. They blamed the blue dogs for years and they blamed the people who made deals with the republicans as much as we blamed the Republicans who caved in. They have their Dinos like Joe Manchin is going to be for the left. So with that in mind. Whatever is left as the Left-wing base thinks like Obama. No compromise. No moderation.

This is a great opportunity to contrast conservatism with progressivism that is coming up these next two years.

Much like Geraldine Ferraro last night, sitting next to Sarah Palin. She went blathering on about how people just didn’t understand what was in Obamacare and the message didn’t get out about it and blah blah blah. Sarah just rolled her eyes. Another libtard that will never EVER get it....
