Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) denounced the Bush family as "blue bloods" in an interview posted Wednesday and remarked that a mentality like theirs helped to cause the economic downturn.
Her comment came in response to a statement made by former first lady Barbara Bush during an interview with CNN's Larry King earlier this week. Asked for her take on Palin, Bush told King: "I think she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."
Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham followed up with Palin, asking if she thought Bush's comment had been planned ahead of time. Palin had this to say:

I didn’t post that - I was responding to someone else who said that.
That’s probably a good point, but I dont’ know who their new daughter-in-law is.
“Blue Bloods” is a socieconomic term, specifically it pertains to class, specifically being born into a certain high class.
It was the wrong way to phrase it, IMO. And it was certain to end up being the only thing most people heard in her response.
Had she not used those particular words, this thread would not be happening. A comment, as you point out, about the Establishment versus Conservatives would have hit the mark fine.
Disagree with her, no problem. But, IMO, BB has seen, heard, done, discussed and lived more about politics in this nation than most of us.
Yes, the RINO snots know something about politics, and this 2010 election is the straightest, hardest, bruising, bloodying, punch to the nose these self-anointed, low-IQ, lard-ass, pissants have ever experienced since those "peasants with pitchforks" tossed their favored Lord Cornwallis off the continent in the Revolutionary War.
No kidding.
It's the new canard from the wee-wee'd ones.
“But it looks as though a lot of little people actually voted for Murkowski, doesnt it?”
yeah, a some “little Democrats” who didn’t want a real conservative elected.
Interesting, you advocating for Murkowski or Dems lol?
I just don't see how it is insulting to state, backhandedly or not, that one is of the opinion that a person should neither run nor be nominated for President.
I hope Obama goes back to Illinois. Or Hawaii. Or Indonesia. Is that a personal insult?
I don't see how. I'm simply conveying that I don't think he should be President. That's not an insulting statement.
Palin should have simply explained why she thinks she should run, or else left it alone.
That is true. Being passive ...but more than that being a RINO = loser
The Bush granny is working with Tokyo Rove.
The Bush hit on Palin and endorsement of Romneycare on Larry King was scripted by Rove, Schmitt, etc.
Palin’s response was a message to Rove and the RINO establishment.
She is dictating the terms of the primaries.
Blue bloods vs. Grassroots
Which side are you on?
“Lets compare and contrast the Bush matriarchs comments regarding Sarah Palin and any of the following Communists, perverts and oily criminals who are actively destroying our country:
1) The RaceMarxist In Chief.
2) Bill Clinton.
3) Harry Reid.
4) Nancy Pelosi.
5) John Murtha (RIH)
6) Barney Frank
Crickets.....
Yet the old tortoise sticks her head out of her elitist RINO shell to bash the brightest star in the conservative universe.”
Great post...and lookie at the Establishment-supporting pansies on this board joining in.
All these people saying she should lighten up etc, are just people that do not like her! They think we actually are not smart enough to see this.
I know most of these people by name here, they drop by any/all Sarah threads and drop negative remarks, we know who they are, who do they think they are kidding?
A quick glance at these people`s posting history gives them away, talk about not very bright???
Hi again - this may be more info than you wanted but it seems I did the setup but left off the point. I do that sometimes...
My point is that at each step listed in the last post there have become “gatekeepers” especially surrounding money and political connections. Because of these gatekeepers, only “approved” people can get through. Who does the approval? That is where the debate comes in. But the Bushes somehow can get Jeb past all the gatekeepers if they want to, and we are having trouble getting Sarah past the media gatekeepers and the RINO political contacts gatekeepers.
See how it works? That’s my point.
Sorry for two long posts.
The "little people" who voted for Murkowski were the same "little people" who always vote for Democrats: Minorities conditioned to believe they are dependent on governmental largess.
In this case, Eskimos. No different than the reservation Indians in South Dakota, the urban blacks in New Jersey or the illegals in Arizona.
She could have added 'Barbara, didn't answer King's question, instead she said more about her own conceited class , than me'.
Babs essentially said 'sit down and shut up', and Sarah's not going too.
Amen!
Good for Sarah.
If you think that is a major insult, you are thin skinned.
Perhaps you need the help.
