Except that there are numerous USSC decisions that refer to NBC and each one defines it as born in country to two citizen parents, and that the founding fathers used Vittals “Law of Nations” as the reference in writting the Constitution.
There is no rational reason why the Founding Fathers would want the highest office in the land to be available to anyone other than someone Thoroughly and Uniquely American. The vast majority of Americans are Natural Born Citizens and requiring that quality of citizenship is not an onerous requirement.
In fact allowing anyone not meeting that very basic quality of birth goes against the very reason of having eligibility in the first place.
This was reserached and quoted numerous times in the last couple of years. Do the homework, it’s all here on FR. People could not just invent whatever races or ethnicities they wanted, they had to pick from a list, and the appropirate one was “Negro”, “African” was not on the list.

Actually the Senate Democrats brought up the eligibility issue with McCain then gave McCain a pass on the NBC issue in order to provide cover for Obama. Notice that Res 911 highlights the nationally of the parents as the most inportant aspect of NBC when they dealt with McCain. Also notice that the Senate never examined Obama .......hmmmmmmm...

Couldn't they? I'm not finding the Hawaiian Administrative Code mentioned here any time before today. I may be wrong, but if you have a citation, it's up to you to produce it.
Federal law specified various races to appear in birth certificates, among them "Negro," but it's not clear that state law restricted registrars to those categories.
Especially not in Hawaii where the race on one's birth certificate might be "Chinese," "Japanese," "Korean," "Filipino," or even "Portuguese" or "Puerto Rican."
When the data was submitted to the federal government it was made to conform to federal guidelines, but you'd have to provide the proof that the state imposed those federal categories on its own employees.
Well what extra information is on a long form? Got a picture of one? My COLB looks basically exactly like this, and its the only one anyone has ever asked for.

What is working? I don’t see all the skeptics rolling over and declaring BO a natural born citizen, by virtue of what he released today, those who didn’t see any value in the issue haven’t changed their minds, and the true BO believers never have and still don’t care.

For us, we cannot determine the legitimacy of a given document by simply seeing a photo of it. It isn’t possible. You have to have the document itself. I predict he won’t give the document up for forensic analysis. Call me nuts or a bad conservative, what ever... but I don’t think he is gonna do it. He is one arrogant SOB and he got taken down a peg or two today. That in and of itself is some justice. That bastard let an American HERO, a man who has saved lives of our most precious assets, our soldiers... rot in PRISON! WTF. Seriously? Really? Yeah, he won’t let it go for analysis. Based on the form released today, this is the question worth asking now..and could it lead to impeachment? we could only hope so.
That is another thing that is missing..on my altered birth certificate ( as an adoptee) the name of the doctor who attended was listed as well as the hospital.

A certificate of live birth is not a long form. I don’t know why they would call it that. As though they had previously released a short form?
A certificate of live birth is what people use to get drivers licenses and such, Otherwise there is the actual birth certificate which you probably don’t even have. It has foot prints. No long form. No such thing.
In all probability, neither Stanley Ann nor the doctor would do anything but sign the purported BC. The task of filling in the other info would fall to a hospital employee who did it routinely. Only certain designations of "race" would be deemed acceptable to the state bureaucrats - that hospital employee would be aware of them - and "African" would not be among them.

My son’s hospital certificate was issued in 1990. His cute little footprints are on it. My daughter’s was issued in 1984, same thing, different hospital. Mine was issued in 1953, same thing, third hospital.
candidly, if the white house was going to fake or alter this document, they would do a world class job of it. They would have the state gov of HI involved (the necessary people), and the only possible hole in the job would thus be plugged. They would not do a bush tx/ang dan-rather job.
