Ron Paul probably shouldn’t expect a presidential endorsement from Florida Rep. Allen West.
The Republican congressman had some strong words for the candidate Saturday, two days after Paul suggested during Thursday’s GOP debate that Iran be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon because so many other countries already have them.
Speaking at a Tea Party event in Fort Lauderdale, West said he was deeply concerned about U.S. foreign policy, and particularly the threat Iran poses to the rest of the world.

If you have seen the brain dead dopers that follow RuPaul around, mostly college kids, you would be surprised he didn’t win by 200 votes in that phony poll. Apparently some of them were too stoned to remember to show up.
His fiscal policy is to say we spend too much, vote against every appropriations bill, but make sure those bills are still loaded with pork for his district.

Two off the top of my head are:
West joined the Black Caucus to poke them in the eye.
West voted against defunding Obummercare because he said it was the wrong issue to focus on at that moment and the vote would do nothing.

When it gets down to it, that vote was just a ceremonial bit of PR by the GOP. It was never going to do anything as long as the Rats run the Senate. I see Wests point that they should be focusing on things that they can actually get done.
