Political observers of a certain age will remember the night of March 31 1968. At the very end of a long speech about the Vietnam War, President Johnson shocked the nation with his announcement that “I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your President.”
Don’t be surprised if Obama makes a similar announcement.
To understand why, its worth looking at how we got the President we have.

Obama is far too narcissistic not to run for reelection. Even if he wavered, his boss Soros wouldn’t hear of his declining another four years.

I'd almost be inclined to accept that deal if it meant a guarantee of ridding the country of his entire poisonous regime.
I'm kinda new to this deal but is Obama, as president, supposed to be campaigning during working hours? Is (taxpayer funded)campaigning for office more than a year before the election even legal? It seems at least an ethics violation to be campaigning for himself and his party when the campaign is being underwritten by democrats, republicans, independents and so forth.
I suppose this is another case of "no controlling legal authority" coupled by the acquiessence of the spineless quislings in the republican leadership and the lickspittle, bootlicking mainstream press.

You just know all the Dems who count are looking at their internal polling and seeing their party plunging into a black hole. And we all know they keep massive dirt files on one another which come in handy at “persuasion time”.
One of these days the call will come. “Coach wants to see you, bring your playbook”.

Do you really believe Obama makes his own decisions? Remember, he couldn’t even decide whether or not to kill Bin Laden. If his bosses tell him he has to go, he goes. They won’t let him destroy the democratic party for his ego.
He already was facing challengers, if he had thought, for even a moment, that he would have won the primary, he would have taken his chances.
Zero has made sure there will be no primary challenger, no one will dare try and run against him, if they do so, the punishment would be so severe, their political career would be destroyed as well as that of anyone who worked for them or with them or supported them.
Zero has already started running for re-election, he won't stop, until we make him stop.
One thing I see - something tangible has changed in the last month or so - I think the fake credit rating debt ceiling “crisis” caused the bloom to fall off the rose and the wizard to step out from behind the curtain.
It’s not that *everything* has changed - the media is still the media, the freeloaders are still the freeloaders - but *something* has changed.
How this will all play out will be fascinating to watch.

You give Obama way more power than he has. Remember, he did not get the nomination on his merits. What his bosses give, they can take away. And I won’t be surprised so see Hillary jump in at the last minute.
I have noticed those in the MSM are now starting to criticize Obama as well. At some point people realize America is really in trouble and Obama keeps making it worse.
Depends on whether he can totally destroy the US in one term.
Unless another job offer comes up, like king of the world, this is obama’s dream of where he should be. He will not go willingly.
Obama is a narcissist whom defeat is so unfathomable, whose megalomania so delusional, he almost certainly believes he will win, and I'd go a step further that he is delusional enough to think he will win by landslide.
We're talking about someone who has gone through 3 budget chiefs in only a couple of years, and they were sycophants, because the idea of disagreement leaves such a stench to him.
His re-election team is in place, he has already begun his run, his campaign HQ is set up (in chicago again), Axlerod is already out of the white house and working on the campaign, and no democrat, none, has gone within miles of coming anywhere near setting up a campaign (mostly because even hiring someone to do so, would telegraph such a move and bring swift reprisal).
