President Barack Obama could have a political problem with black voters in 2012.
Obama is still immensely popular with African Americans. But at a town hall-style meeting held in Miami Gardens this week, some black leaders and Democratic members of the Congressional Black Caucus said they are exasperated that the country’s first black president has not done more to address the needs of the black community — particularly its 16 percent unemployment rate.
“Can you say, ‘black’?” Rep. Maxine Waters of California snapped at Don Graves, the executive director of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. He had told the crowd of hundreds at Mount Hermon AME Church that Obama is focused on helping every community, though “certain communities have been hit harder.”
The meeting Monday night, coupled with a jobs fair in downtown Miami on Tuesday, was part of a national, five-city tour intended to draw attention to hurting, urban communities and to connect employers to job-seekers.
The tour was a contrast to Obama’s bus trip last week when he ventured to rural areas in the Midwest before heading with his family to Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts for vacation.
The White House is expected to unveil a new jobs plan after Labor Day.....

I was watching something else on YT when I tripped across the Howard Stern (not my favorite guy but in this case he was spot on) segment where he asked black barry supporters if they agree with “barry’s” positions — but they were McCain’s positions, up to and including Gov. Palin for VP!!!
When Colin Powell announced he was voting for barry, I knew that blacks vote skin color first and issues 4th. The worst racism of all.
Let’s see. Black leaders want jobs for their constituency while our president want to tax the rich so that those without a job can have a hand out.
Mayhap even the faithful are waking up?

There is a very good reason they are not conducting interviews on site, Naomi. You can thank your friendly neighborhood Affirmative Action laws. More specifically, the 4/5 rule.
If they conduct interviews on site, everyone they interview is considered a job applicant even if they are woefully under-qualified. If the firm winds up hiring a minority group at less than 4/5 the rate that they hire white applicants, they will be taken to court and will most likely lose a discrimination suit.
So, if they interview 500 unqualified people at your job fair, they will need to hire a great deal of them to stay in compliance. They are sending you to the computer because it screens out unqualified people and does not count them as official "candidates".
The clowns you have in front of you blaming your misfortunes on the Tea Party are in reality the very people who are making it so difficult for you to get a job or even an interview. Would be nice if you would finally wake up to that fact.
They voted for Zimbabwe and now they got Zimbabwe. The 1/2 black president is a jobs and economy killer. Keep voting for him if they want the same. Don’t blame the whites or the Tea Party who want to see them gainfully employed and living a productive life. Keep voting for Loser Dems of any color but don’t expect better results. They voted for change and change is here. Still voting for the Bama? Blame themselves then!

I think he’s mostly concerned with the job woes facing people who are half white like he is.
Blacks will vote for Odumbo. It’s a black thing and we won’t understand cause’ we ain’t “down with it”. Even if O raped a white woman, told Oprah to eff off, they will still vote for him.
