This looks like this is it, said Ted Ryan, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Fort Worth. The end of summer is coming up.

Then again, as Dennis Prager said today, the same people who were wrong about the hurricane one day before it happened, expect us to believe what they say about "climate change" 60 years from now. But we'll take this anyways.....YES! It's only 96 as I type this! YES! Where's my sweater.....
Dear God, please, please, please let it rain in Central Texas too!!!! It’s only 90 here right now. Not sure what happened but it was supposed to reach 109 today so maybe luck is finally with us.
Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain
so which comes first, the cool or the low pressure?
Even if they get all the rain they wanted, is it not already past the growing season? Trucks are already hitting other states buying up hay.
Yeah....it’s “only” 96 right now and I’m good with that! I can ride my new KLR 650 without my face catching on fire.
Went through something similar here in Atlanta in
the 80s. after months of that 95 feels cool indeed.
In Vietnam when the monsoon finally came and the temps
were in the 70s, we were sleeping with blankets and
wearing field jackets at night.
Late crops?
90s will feel so refreshing!
We are looking forward to mid-90’s down here in Houston later this week!
That stuff in the backyards here sure looks a lot like short hay these days

LOL...funny. I guess it’s all about perspective. Your post remeinded me an old Taxi episode where Jim Ignatosky was able to identify some weed in Latka’s cookies.....”Peru, southern peru, 73, before the monsoons”. LOL..funny.

I hear you got a bunch of Carl’s Jr. Burgers down there in Houston too and they are doing well. I put Carl’s right behind IN N OUT. :) We need a hurricane to bash the gulf area (sorry) and bring some storms to Dallas.....ok?
>>I saw rain predicted for the end of the week for H-Town as well.>>
H-Town? Houston? (just guessin...transplanted Californian here, sorry)
As a Native Southern Californian, and having just spent 90 days in Dallas, all I can say is Ocean, 9000 foot Mountains, Snow, Yosemite, Trout, Snow Skiing, are all better than sitting in a restaraunt outdoors in Uptown Dallas when it’s 107 degrees. Sorry ya’ll but Dallas is dull, unless you like the mall, movies, eating, or boating in muddy lakes!
Carl’s Jr is okay but not even close to In-N-Out IMO. We came through Dallas last week and stopped in for a Double-Double. :0)
>>>End of Summer? At the start of September? UNEXPECTED!>>>
I ain’t buying it. We’re gonna break that record for most 100 days in a year and I want a T Shirt that says something like “I survived the hottest year in the hottest state in the country. And the worse drought in the hottest state too. And yes, I was miserable every second of it so don’t talk to me about your problems”..........or something like that...
109.2 right now on the back porch (rural New Braunfels) but we have a forecast of 40%/30% chance of rain for Thursday/Friday with highs forecast in the low 90s. Sweet! It hit 111.9 at our place Sunday.

Yeah....but hey. We got “whattaburger” , crappy Tex Mex, and this junk they call “queso” that they put on everything....so it ain’t all bad...:)
