Sorry. Someone has posted the Cain’s article on several threads:

http://www.economicfreedomcoalition.com/news/press-opinion-061107.asp

Same as Newt and Perry (with the exception of Perry’s tuition breaks), pro-border control, pro-fines, pro enforcing the laws.

Still, even Cain wants a non-deportation way of dealing with the millions of illegals already here. He has said so several times.

It was worth repeating.

You are right on some, but there can be a stronger hand. First of all, follow the Arizona law. Second, any illegals arrested for a crime has got to go. Third, focused infiltration of gangs especially MS-13. Fourth, federal prosecution of state officials who fail to enforce federal laws. This can be done and help bring order back to our society. Heat alone will help stem a lot of the problem. The problem is that the federal gov’t and presidents of both parties have ceded US sovereignty in California especially and have invited and encouraged the problem to grow.

Illegal immigration is a problem, but the bigger immigration problem is one we’re afraid to talk about - the CULTURAL one. More specifically, do they live American lives? Or do they live as they do “back home” whilst taking advantage of the American economy, entitlements, and resources? Even if you’re legal, if you want to live here, you need to want to be an American.

Ain’t happening bucko. That’s debate society baloney. If it’s so popular, why aren’t all Republican candidates pushing for all the beaners to get kicked out?

Oh, that’s right. They would like to get elected.

Cain has the same position - a non-deportation means of dealing with the millions of illegals already here:

See my tagline.

So Newt who makes a commercial supporting AGW now supports amnesty for illegals because it’s humane! Why am I not surprised? If nothing else I’m glad Numbster Gingrich isn’t pulling regular duty in a college classroom indoctrinating impressionable young adults.

I’ve seen the great graphic with Romney as used car salesman. Can we do one with the Numbster.

I’m a Cain supporter and looking at a realistic action in dealing with 11-20 million illegals. Shipping them all out aint gunna happen, anyone proposing to do so will lose.

Yep, climate control, amnesty, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and health insurance mandates. This is the Romney alternative??

the words missing from your quote are “not amnesty”. Not sure what that actually means, but that was back in 2007 before his Presidential run. From tonight, he came out in favor of the Arizona immigration enforcement law. That’s good stuff.

I agree you can fold these into my points and it would get much support. Securing the border, then deporting the “bad guys” will get the illegal immigration talk started. Deport them all is a non-starter.

Using terms like "beaner" and demanding that THIRD GENERATION AMERICAN CITIZENS of Hispanic descent be deported makes you sound like one of those stormfront.org nutcases.

We have “compassionate conservatism” to thank for the loss of California. Republicans will soon lose every other state if immigration trends are not reversed.

Do a little research on “Operation Wetback” during the 50’s and you will see the results that even a comparatively modest mass deportation drive can have. If we began seriously enforcing, millions would self-deport. It’s been done before. The only people I hear talking about sending them all home at once are amnesty supporters setting up a very weak straw man.
