Let’s hope so; in the 6th where I live Hudak signs greatly outnumbered those for Tierney (though he started to get his up eventually). But “lawn signs don’t vote”...Both will indeed have the name recognition this time around (and here in the 6th we have picked up some conservative-leaning territory, but whomever runs vs. Tierney will also have to deal with Dem-territory like Lynn)

No, not ‘good’ news. Great news. Fabulous news. Fantastic news. Long overdue yet nonetheless stupendous news. This is an answer to prayer. Frank has been one of the most destructive people in congress. His absence alone will be a massive improvement. The only better news he could offer would be, ‘retiring, effective immediately’.

Otoh, it’s not too late to pursue him for his role in the Freddie/Fannie catastrophe. Let’s hope that happens too; he needs a pitbull special prosecutor hounding him till the day he takes his place in the federal pen. Short of that, his getting out of congress is probably as good as it gets.

If not for the upcoming Dizzy Miss Lizzie Warren coronation, you’d think he’d be eying Brown’s Senate seat... (oops,
maybe I should re-phrase that...)

Penitentiary?! He deserves to be tarred & feathered & then drawn & quartered. The economic mess we’re in can largely be dropped at Barney’s doorstep.

Instead he’ll get a lush pension & live out his years contentedly telling everyone how he ‘fought for the little guy,’ and vaunted by the media for his distinguished career.

Hopefully he can begin his new career as Federal Inmate #B2546794 soon after leaving office.

Old Barney sees the handwriting on the wall!!! Scott Brown is going to give Elizabeth Warran a defeat she never dreamed of in MA. Obama will probably carry MA, but....it will be tight. Pay no heed to the media, folks!!! This coming election is our one opportunity to destroy both POTUS Obama and......a good portion of the “traitor” Democrat Party!!!

Bwarney was in good competition for the “Who can damage America the MOST” award. He and Dead Kennedy were the two finalists. Funny, both as mentioned earlier, from Marxichusetts.

[oh, and btw, i’m here too, stuck in massholeachusetts]

Who would have thought that Barney would one day do something to improve the government?

The problem with that is this he will get nothing from it just like Corzine is getting. Only those on the other side of the aisle get investigated. Rangle, Waters and Feinstein,

For once he feels he’s stolen enough.

And he’ll be replaced by some liberal crook just as bad.

He'll take his fat pension and slink out the back door rather than face the voters about his involvement in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He'll live high while we struggle with the debt his corruption and mendacity has left us.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Frank knows what is coming, when it is coming, and he intends to be out of the country when it happens.
