Cain to End Candidacy Tomorrow? (Major Announcement tomorrow.)
Big Government ^

Posted on 12/02/2011 11:35:32 AM PST by sunmars

Embattled presidential candidate Herman Cain is inviting his top supporters and donors to Atlanta on Saturday for a meeting in which he will give them advance word of whether he intends to continue his campaign, sources close to the campaign said Friday.

One supporter who has been summoned to the private session said he believes that Cain is likely to announce he is ending his candidacy.

Another who has been invited to the morning meeting says attendees have been told he has made no decision, but wanted to meet with some of the supporters to express his gratitude.

Several sources indicated that Cain is likely to announce his plans publicly at a news conference after the meeting. Cain had already scheduled an event on Saturday — the grand opening of his national headquarters in his hometown of Atlanta, as well as the announcement of his campaign’s freshly minted senior leadership team for the state of Georgia.

***the vaccuum that exists because of it has created chaos around the globe. In a vaccuum others will take power and push their own agenda’s and that’s what has happened throughout the departments.***

This perpetual power base is overlooked by every pundit from all sides of the spectrum. Glen Beck was the only ‘news reporter’ to highlight the various Federal Department czars. There is more power pushed behind the curtains of Government than is portrayed on C-Span.

Newt should make that his first order of business - open the windows and doors - and turn on the hoses.

He’s not remotely capable of doing the job, and the vaccuum (sic) that exists because of it has create chaos around the globe.

He's doing his job perfectly, which is to destroy the USA and "create chaos around the globe" in order to pave the way for the global caliphate.

In a vaccuum (sic) others will take power and push their own agenda’s and that’s what has happened throughout the departments.

In almost every case, the departments are chock full of permanent communist bureaucrats...regardless of the ideology of a given administration or the dept heads they have nominated. This includes the State Department.

Hopefully a real conservative would take this as a hint to eliminate any un-Constitutional extensions of the executive branch.

The same would be true of an inept ideologue if they were conservative. The job will run you over...they will get run over just as badly as Fauxbama has.

By whom...the TEA Party? Other Constitutionists? OMG!

What would he do...completely ELIMINATE the federal government?

Actually Newty had two that we know about. And I like your take on the irony.

I will not vote for a RINO under any circumstances. Might just as well vote for a Marxist demrat.

Tea Party Conservatives need to stick to their guns at this juncture. Even if Cain drops out we still have Bachmann and Santorum waiting in the wings. I’ll be damned if I’m gonna allow the RINO-led, Marxist demrat-controlled GOP pick my candidate. If I have to go the write-in route I will.

But let’s look ahead a bit and suppose a RINO runs on Pubbie ticket. I suspect a fairly large number of demrats will bail out on Onada—assuming he refuses to go away—and vote Newty.

Newty won’t need our votes to be elected. In principle we shouldn’t vote for the b****** anyway. But for the faint of heart denying Newty your vote will not result in Onada’s reelection. Therefore, Tea Party conservatives are free to vote their conscienses. The electioneering is far from over. It’s too early to know what the outcome will be. But right now it looks like the best of all worlds for conservatives will be the winning candidate—assuming he/she is not conservative—receiving 40% or less of the vote. At the same time real conservatives pick up seats in the House and the Senate. Maybe even assume the Senate majority.

In effect, this will nullify the RINO in the WH. It may very well break the RINO grip in the House and Senate as well. That’s not a bad world as I see it. It would be nicer to clear the decks of RINOs and their Marxist controllers in one step. But we may have to settle for two steps.

Have to remember it took us over 50 years to evolve to this bad place. Perhaps it is unrealistic to expect we can turn the ship around in one election cycle.

I also think that Cain’s candidacy—if he chooses to drop out—will have unforseeable effects that will be overall positive for conservatives. We are human, too.

“You have no proof he’s being attacked with lies-not from this woman.”

You are correct, but I think it’s a very safe assumption to make...based on what we DO know.

Please understand that IF it would be true that he did this & lied about it when it came to light, he would lose all respect with me.

I also agree that it has not been handled well....and I have made that point before.

If you are determined to cling to your hurt feelings and to continue to believe untruths about Governor Perry, there’s nothing I can do.

However, I strongly urge you to reconsider. The in-state tuition was not a ‘Perry plan.’ As you may know it was passed in 2001 by an almost unanimous vote of the Texas legislature. It costs taxpayers nothing and was done in the hope of turning some of the children of illegals into more productive tax-paying citizens instead of welfare recipients.

Governor Perry has apologized for his unfortunate choice of words in defending this plan which was not done because of compassion but was a pragmatic practical idea.

As for speaking to LaRaza, of course, he made some pleasantries to the group but he did not give any concessions to them; in fact, just the opposite.

I don’t know who you’re favoring now, but if it’s Newt, he made far more concessions to illegals than Rick Perry ever has and used some kind of ‘heart’ word in doing so.

Fox news is now pretending Rick Perry doesn’t exist. Karl Rove does not dare mention his name. The establishment doesn’t want Perry and who can blame them. He’s threatened to demolish their playhouse and tear down their house of cards and privilege.

If you don’t want Newt or Romney, and let’s face it, your first choice is gone, I hope you would consider Rick Perry.

I haven’t had a chance to read every single thread about Cain on FR lately. Has the accuser shown any proof or Cain admitted to a sexual relationship with White, that he is being accused of an affair?

Bingo!......You just nailed it FRiend. Cain can't keep his greenhorn mouth shut. He also really has no clue what he is talking about, most of the time. Especially the way he tries to come across as being an adequate government executive. The more he talked, the more most of us realized how poorly prepared and inadequate he is to lead this country.

When a candidate like Perry, who has made as many errors and serious flubs in front of the American People as he has, especially when that candidate spends a million or so to beg the American public for a “second chance”, you might as well accept the fact that he is ruined.

The primary is 3 weeks away and Christmas will dominate about a week of it. So, it is virtually impossible for him to come back. Especially when the front runner is now polling between 40 and 50% consistently.

That... and it was and remains very difficult imagining Cain debating with Obama because of what we have heard, and not heard that we should have. I don't know hwo it would even be possible for him to get up to speed enough for those debates in the time frame he has. And unfortunately he'd more likely then not trip on his johnson again and again and Obam would call him on it as well....it wouldn't slide thru as has been so thus far.

I hope at least some black people noticed there was a viable black republican candidate before the MSM took him down.

Seriously, you are going to insert race into this?

If Cain drops out today, he took himself down. He had an admitted friendship with this woman and offered financial support. His wife knew nothing about this.

Yes, "Slick Willy" got away with more. However, no one blamed the MSM for his predicament. Sadly, they tried to blame an 18-year-old intern.

Also I’ve concluded those who are attempting to call Newt a Rhino are looking for perfection...Newt’s record has shown otherwise he’s done more for conservativism than any other....so wither they aren’t looking at his record in totality or it’s a matter that none of the candidates can fulfill the perfection of conservatism they are looking for...Newt is the closest we have to meeting all that we need in a President at this time in our country and for the days ahead...while surely being conservative and absolutely devoted to our country.

It is ALL about Race. A black conservative is deadly to MSM, the RATS.

otherwise there would be equal scrutiny of BHO’s sexual exploits over the years & THOSE MANY who have come forward

Your numbers for Newt are a bit exaggerated.

I suggest that you thank God there’s not much time left because, given enough time and rope, Newt will hang himself.

I’ve told you before how I feel about Newt. He can win but he won’t be a good president. Better than Obama, goes without saying.

And pray tell, dear altura, how does that campaign of personal smear and destruction against your candidate either by misrepresentation or outright ignoring or ridiculing him by the MSM, feel?

It is ALL about Race. A black conservative is deadly to MSM, the RATS.

Look, I've gone on rants here over the years about the MSM.

You are missing the point. If Cain resigns because of his friendship and financial support of a woman (that his wife did not know about), those are his actions. His handling of all of it, his actions.

You can blame the MSM for many things, and there are many examples of issues/stories that race may be an issue--this is not one of them.

If he stays in the race and goes onto win, you won't attribute it to his race...you will say it is his qualifications.

Please, don't bring race into this. It is degrading to all of us.
