Watching Ron Paul- I can only see two dying catapillars fight it out, while his mouth tries to distract me with nonsense and then, once again I’m distracting by the dueling catapillars. :sigh: Sorry for any who support him, but I find the guy to be a complete nutbucket, and think he would be a disaster for this country and a disaster for Israel.

What Perry is talking about is to nullify and minimize as much of Obamacare as possible through EO and HHS rules. Repeal will take time and will require 60 votes in the Senate to pass.
There is the problem of the 10th amendment.
I could answer for her: if we get the Fed out of health care, then we can turn tort reform all the way back to the States.
As it is now, however, the Federal government *owns* your health care, your doctor and your health information. That was the first post I made on FR, back in 1998: The HIPAA act in 1996/1997, when the Secretary of Health and Human Services -— and anyone who claims that they work for him/her -— was given the power to go into any office that takes Medicare and see everything and even make copies. Then, they added provisions that essentially made HHS the owner of all information and materiel in any office that electronically transmitted information.
