I was just getting my hair cut at the Lackland AFB (now something called a joint base) when this guy in a leather flight jacket . . . probably from the National Guard or the Air Force reserves next door . . . challenges his femsle barber . . . "Do you smoke?"

This pissy officer explains, barbers smoke and he can't stand the smell of tobacco smoke on their breath as they cut his hair.

But, he can smell and enjoy the scent of JP-4.

This flying officer needs to be identified and removed from flying status . . . or removed from training and discharged.

I don't know. I spent a week on an aircraft carrier and the smell of JP-5 was everywhere, in your clothes, in your skin, everywhere. I had to wash my clothes many times to get that stench out of them. Yuk!
