CNSNews.com) – Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, says he has no plans to reverse the Obama administration’s repeal of the ban on homosexuals serving in the U.S. military

In an editorial meeting in early November with the Des Moines Register, which endorsed him for the Iowa caucuses pending on Jan. 3, Romney was asked, “How do you feel about gays serving openly in the military?”

Romney said, “That’s already occurred. I’m not planning on reversing that at this stage.”

The reporter followed up, “But you’re comfortable with it?”

Lipstick lezzies are great to look at, but the US military promoting this BS is beyond the pale, and PAYBACK IS COMING, AND WILL BE A BUTCH.

Look at the bright side. It’ll be 2012. The world ends in less than a year. Whoever wins will never get sworn in. :)

This will make him unbeatable in IA, where people pride themselves on being “tolerant.”

Sounds like he figures the nomination’s sewn up, before a vote has been cast, and he’s running for the “center”.

why do we have different rules for a sheriff than our military, huh?

Well, for one thing, sheriffs carry loaded weapons at work. The military, not so much. Ft. Hood ...

I’m going to get a kick out of the threads about 9 months from now when “conservatives” are lining up to rationalize their decision to vote for mittens in the general election.

B-b-bu-but he’s so much better than barky!

Perry was opposed to repeal, since repeal has continued to say it was a policy that was working but Obama wanted to end it for political reasons to please his base.

He was confronted by a young woman at an Iowa townhall who said she resented his ad that says “gays can serve openly in the military but children can’t pray in school” because if Perry had his way he would prevent her serving if she wanted to serve, because “I’m openly bi-sexual”. (Isn’t that special?)

He said his belief is, homosexuality is a sin...not worse than sinning in other ways but a sin...he opposes the sin but does not hate the sinner...he thinks it’s a bad policy to allow gays to serve openly and still supports DADT.

Mormons seem to have become homo friendly. Dunno if it's due to their missionaries being coupled with a partner over the years, or the persuasion of society (re: negroes allowed into priesthood, circa 1978)... (dogs and women next!)

Nope, not an FR Mormon hater, just a Roman Catholic sympathizer, here in MoTown (Salt Lake County).

Homos haave always been in the military. The difference now is they are allowed to flaunt the perversion and force straights to deal with it.

DADT should have never been repealed.

BRAVO.... I do not think that people remember that gays have always served in our military and will continue to do so. I thank them for the service they give to our country.

Lol. I’m baffled that so many Republicans have fallen for this dude.

I agree. He's for abortion, he's worse than obama and the dems on healthcare, there's this and gods only knows what else.

Why ANYone has ANY idea that he's even close to a conservative is far beyond me!!!

Military policy allows PDA at traditional events like welcome home ceremonies and balls. Whether good or bad, it’s a non issue for many Soldiers now.

The “effing” guy drove from Boston to Ontario with his dog in a crate tied to the top of a car.

Look at the way a man treats an animal. That is a pretty accurate glimpse into their character.

True story...lok it up.
