The Israel Antiquities Authority unveiled a rare ancient seal that underscores the bond of the Jewish people to Jerusalem.
Archaeologist Eli Shukron of the Antiquities Authority, and Professor Ronny Reich of Haifa University, who oversaw the excavation, explained to reporters the significance of the coin.
"This is the first time an object of this kind has been found. It is direct archaeological evidence of Jewish activity on the Temple Mount during the Second Temple era," they said.

From 1948 to 1967, ironically, the Jewish Quarter of the Old City WAS a garbage dump, and because of that, all sorts of precious archeological sites and artifacts were preserved.

It really stuns me that this moslem billboard is tolerated and terrorists in training play soccer and who knows what all goes on. I thought that site was sacred to Jews and follow on Christianity.
A peaceful demo of armored Caterpillars should be visited upon them in the interest of exposing nuisance insects worldwide.
Really, how can this be tolerated? The religion of peace daily demonstrates the opposite. Wake up O Israel.

This demonstrates that Newt Gingrich is right:
Israel belongs in the land, and the Palestinians are a creation in just the past generation.
I hope I live to see the demolition and complete destruction of that demonic monstrosity.
