POOL REPORT
President Obama arrived in Phoenix at 3:15 pm local time, finding the chilly weather of Iowa giving way to sunny skies and temperatures in the high 60s.
He stepped off Air Force One at 3:28 pm and was greeted by Gov. Jan Brewer. She handed him a handwritten letter in an envelope and they spoke intensely for a few minutes. At one point, she pointed her finger at him.
Afterwards, your pooler spoke with the governor.
"He was a little disturbed about my book, Scorpions for Breakfast. I said to him that I have all the respect in the world for the office of the president. The book is what the book is. I asked him if he read the book. He said he read the excerpt. So."
Asked what aspect of the book disturbed him, Brewer said: "That he didn't feel that I had treated him cordially. I said I was sorry he felt that way but I didn't get my sentence finished. Anyway, we're glad he's here. I'll regroup."

That’s because the establishment doesn’t really have a problem with what he’s doing.
As for Obama, the IN, OH, and Wisconsin Democrats, and the Labor Unions (see striking) I think they need a new slogan - a truthful one. I suggest:
The Democrat Party of America - “The Party of Avoidance”.
The Establishment (made up of elements of the right and left - or so it seems), and especially establishment Republicans (like those behind Romney) don’t want to call Obama on his actions because they are waiting for a piece of the Socialist Pie they are trying to bake.
To actually hold Obama’s feet to the fire for all he’s done would make it impossible for them to have “their turn” at all the “wheeling and dealing”.
At least that’s my view of the situation...
Hmmm... I hadn’t thought about that possibility before. It certainly is an interesting proposition.
You know, it still looks like a semi-friendly exchange. Also, remember,,Obama’s camp better not even think about using “fingers” as tool of offensive considering the way HE gave Hillary the finger during the primaries...no go!

Yeah, I know, not very high-brow. But you have to thing Zero was always picked last. That in itself makes the MSM identify with him.
It looks like he DEFINITELY is at least in contact with her elbow. It would be interesting to see if she moved her arm away after that point or not. Her left hand seems to be in a strange position unless it was in motion. I’ll see if I can’t find a video clip of the exchange somewhere - I wonder if anyone can read their lips?
And if that seems like putting expediency over values: well, you can't dump Obama if you don't GET ELECTED.
