Iran warns world of coming great event.

Iran warns world of coming great event Says 'evil hegemony' soon will be defeated by power of Allah

(snip)

Khamenei then claimed the current century as the century of Islam and promised that human history is on the verge of a great event and that soon the world will realize the power of Allah.

(snip)

Mahdi will reappear at the time of Armageddon. Selected forces within the Revolutionary Guards and Basij reportedly have been trained under a task force called “Soldiers of Imam Mahdi” and they will bear the responsibility of security and protecting the regime against uprisings. Many in the Guards and Basij have been told that the 12th Imam is on earth, facilitated the victory of Hezbollah over Israel in the 2006 war and soon will announce publicly his presence after the needed environment is created.

(snip)

At the same time, his directive to the Guards ordered a speedy completion of the Iranian nuclear bomb program in which Guards’ missiles can be armed with nuclear warheads.

(snip)

Any Iranian military or commercial vessel easily could get right outside the U.S. coastline and in less than 60 seconds fire a ballistic missile armed with a nuclear payload and detonate it over U.S. skies in an electromagnetic attack that would plunge America back into the 18th century.

(snip)

Studies show within just one year after such an attack, two-thirds of Americans would cease to exist and the rest would live under dire conditions.

(snip)

They truly believe the end of time is here. As revealed last year, the Iranian secret documentary “The Coming is Upon Us” clearly indicates that the radicals ruling Iran believe the destruction of Israel will trigger the coming of last Islamic Messiah.

“Oh really! You actually know what I know about it? Could you share with us how exactly it is that you know what I know? Do you make all of your decisions on speculation and assumptions?”

You say EMP like those that say “Global Warming”. You read it on the Internet enough times to claim it must be true: Repeat a lie often and long enough and the feeble minded will believe anything said. EMP = Global Warming. Different crowd, same mentality.

How do I know what you know? Because I Know what I know professionally about EMP and I know you’re full of poop when it comes to EMP saying we’re all going to die.

That report has been debunked by scientists all over the world, just like the “commissions” on the global warming hoax. Yes, there are commissions all over the federal and State governments wildly claiming global warming is a fact; yet, their reports are written using falsehoods and lies. Everyone writing such reports has ulterior motives. Many serve on boards of companies, or have been offered seats on boards, that would greatly benefit from the reports being swayed, just like global warming.

Basic common sense will dictate what EMP really is. You don’t need a PhD in electrical engineering or physics to ask simple questions that completely and totally debunk the myth that is EMP. However, there are those that want to play fantasy games and think of themselves as the “knowing” and of surviving when everyone else is dead.

““Several potential adversaries have or can acquire the capability to attack the United States with a high-altitude nuclear weapon-generated electromagnetic pulse (EMP). A determined adversary can achieve an EMP attack capability without having a high level of sophistication.” “

Just that sentence, alone, deserves absolute scorn for being ridiculous. They called possessing nuclear weapons and missiles capable of intercontinental range as not being of “a high level of sophistication.” Well, blown my skirt and call my Peggy. I everyone ought to have a nuclear missile topped with a nuclear bomb. It ain’t that hard, gosh darn it. Kind of like changing the oil in the tractor. Creating a nuclear weapon is a major challenge. Just because it was done 60+ years ago doesn’t make it not a high level of sophistication. Countries with massive budgets and high levels of education and technical engineering have failed to produce one, yet, this mickey mouse commission calls it trivial.

Making a missile go far enough and high enough is itself a massive and sophisticated challenge. Hell more countries have nuclear bombs than missiles that can do that. No sophistication there I guess. Just some good ol’ low level third-world know how to get those two things accomplished.

Perhaps you could let us know . . . given the following scenarios . . .

I realize the following parameter is not realistic . . . perhaps . . . but let’s ASSUME that our defensive systems are either a) ordered not used, b) turned off/sabotaged, c) overmuch ineffective.

A) A major highly advanced EMP weapon is lit off at an optimum height over the central USA—say just South a bit of Kansas City.

1. What radius of damage would entail neutered:

a) modern vehicles with chips?
b) electrical grid?
c) computers & electronics in homes that were not faraday cages (seems to me single wide trailers might do better?)
d) cell phone networks and phones
e) landline phones:
. . . 1) land line phones wherein cables were mostly buried
. . . 2) land line phones wherein cables were not mostly buried.

B) EMP pulse weapons were lit off over at least 50% of the following cities

—Los Angeles
—San Francisco
—Seattle
—Chicago
—Denver
—Phoenix
—Albuquerque
—DC
—NYC
—Boston
—Atlanta
—Columbus Ohio

What would the sphere’s of damage be like then?

Have you taken any precautions at all re the EMP threat?

1. I don’t believe we are all going to die.

2. I have talked to the engineer at the college—heads the physical plant etc. . . . after reading a scientific paper on the topic . . . he says it’s a serious problem.

3. I have talked to a senior manager at a coal fired plant who insists it’s a serious problem that they have NOT taken any precautions for.

4. It seems to me that there will be plenty of suffering and mayhem . . . just from the EMP aspect alone . . .

. . . on top of . . . the engineered economic collapse . . . WW3 . . . engineered plagues . . . Mark of the Beast . . .

However, you’re the expert . . . I just read stuff at the Holiday Inn Express.

OK, enough of the lies. Show me where I said “we’re all going to die” or anything close to that. Show me where I said anything other than ask you a question. Either show me where I said that or admit you’re assumptions and accusations are totally out of line and apologize.

Indeed.

I know for a fact from a well connected Boeing worker now retired that we were

ORDERED to STOP hardening our warplanes a couple decades ago or so.

Treasonous, imho.

Most if not all first world nations are capable of nuclear weapons and launch systems. Quite a few second world nations such as Pakistan, India, Iran, South Africa, Ukraine, etc are too. I think we are close to the point where large first world corporations could have both too if they were so inclined. The technology is from the 40s and 50s you know.

“Show me where I said “we’re all going to die” or anything close to that.”

You supported the idea that 70% were going to die. Don’t make a challenge and tell me that isn’t support. It’s like pissing on my leg and trying to tell me it is raining. You supported the “70%” number, so you back that garbage up.

I’m a bright layman who took physics for BA majors.

Not my strength. I’m not an idiot regardless of what many think. LOL.

Seems to me the basics are fairly simple . . . intense radations of some type of ‘RF’ for lack of better term . . . cause impulses in wires to build up—including heat—that overloads the ability of the wires or components to hold together and continue functioning.

Is that a wrong understanding?

“Most if not all first world nations are capable of nuclear weapons and launch systems. “

Really? Mind naming the missile each has that can loft a nuke into our upper atmosphere? Go ahead, take a few days. Google until your hearts content. We’ll wait.

Purportedly there are

EMP WEAPONS IN SPACE that make such doings much easier and more ‘selectable’ than the nuke blast type.

You don’t have to understand the physics involved in great detail. Both the USA and the USSR tested EMP weapons so we have a fairly good idea of their affects on modern electronics. CodeToad has his buried in the sand, not much can be done about that.

Yes, it is wrong. The ONLY EMP susceptible devices are those connected to very long wires that can transmit the pulse over time. An EMP pulse is extreme short in duration and relatively weak, therefore it takes a very long wire to gather enough voltage from an EMP pulse and transmit it to a connected device. Hence, the ONLY EMP victims have been long wire devices.

Here’s a puzzle for you: If EMP “kills all thing electrical and electronic” (As EMP prophecies claim) how, years before the discovery of EMP, did we use electronics and electrical devices to gather information on nuclear events? We had seismographs, cameras, nanometers, voltmeters, ammeters, Geiger counters, X-Ray spectrometers, naval ships with RF radios, electrical generation systems, light bulbs, you name it, there were all kinds of sensitive electronic equipment, yet, … they worked. They recorded all kinds of nuclear and non-nuclear measurements. How was that possible since EMP is supposed to destroy all things electrical and electronic?

>>Don’t make a challenge and tell me that isn’t support.<<

Listen slick. Here’s my question to you. “Is that the only thing you think an EMP attack would cause?”. Now, an answer to that question could be something like, “yes, I’ve studied it and according to such and such here would be the scenario”. You on the other hand is some sort of defensive paranoia thought I was in some way challenging you. Is your self esteem so fragile?

>>You supported the “70%” number, so you back that garbage up.<<

Again, show me how in heavens name you extracted my support by simply asking you a question.

The list is quite extensive, but for your amusement I will simply point out that Iran for instanced launched a satellite into space just the other day. Something in the order of a few hundred lbs. I’d say Iran is well on it’s way to being able to launch an EMP attack on the USA using such a missile from a large ship off our coast.
